Best Duo for getting to 80 and pvping?

Myself and a friend of mine are thinking of trying this game out, could any players or veterans offer some good advice and give me some input on what a good duo of classes would be for playing this game. Im sure the ole warrior/cleric combo would work but i'd like to know if theres a better way to go? Any suggestions appreciated

Me and my friend just went through levels 1-22 using only a Rouge and Guardian and it was pretty easy...
I hear Templar's are overpowered at the moment so maybe a Templar/Guardian combo would be the best way...

brigand/swashy/monk/bruiser and a healer
Shadowknight and Defiler is considered the best duo in the game. They play off of each other's strengths and weaknesses quite nicely.
Plus Shadowknights are getting a buff in the next expansion
