Orc or Tauren?

I'm right now deciding if I want to go with an Orc or Tauren shamen. I know that I want to be a shamen but I'm not sure which race. I'm leaning twords orc but would love some input on what some other people think.

    Well, in the stress test, I played a Tauren Shaman up to level 22 and it was very fun.

     

    Personally, I would choose an Orc, but you should also remember that Troll can be Shamans as well.

    I voted Orc. I don't really know which would be stat wise, but they seem like they would be fun to play and that's what I am looking for when I am looking at creating a character.

    In my opinion i'd say Tauren, but thats only because I personally prefer the Tauren starting area and quests.

    I suppose the Orc Shamans look cooler though image

    I did  the stress test and all in all I realy like the Dwarf, I played the Tauren as a Druid and he was quite good also. Playing WoW is just great no matter what you play you will enjoy it.image

         Hmmm....interesting thoughts and in the long run I will have to try them both but as for which one to start with it seems that Tauren has the majority so maybe I will be giving them a shot. I know on the alliance side I'm going for a Dwarven warrior just because.

    Taurens dont get mounts :( and there plains running ability is gimped at 60 compared to that of mounts. If they gave them mounts or increased the plains running ability with a patch then tauren would kick ass but since they dont get mounts id go with orc or troll.

    I voted for Tauren. Nothing against Orc's, I just have a personal love for the Tauren. My boyfriend played a Tauren Shaman in Stress and his character looked so cool!image But than again, I never seen an Orc Shaman so I can't really compare the two.

    I would have to go with the Tauren.  I like the Tauren starting area alot better than the Orc's as someone else said.  Someone also made a good point though, no mounts with the Tauren.......that may make you want to go Orc.  Hey you could try both in Open Beta and decide which one you will use when the game comes out!image

    Orcs because they dance like MC Hammer.  I mean come on people, what more could you want in a Shaman?

         Well thank you all for the input. I think that durring OB I will try them both if I can. If not then I will be trying the Tauren Shamen in OB and will try the Orcish Shamen first on the release. I will have to say that both the Tauren and Orc look cool as a Shamen and the fact that the Tauren doesn't get a mount is a bit of a bummer but I can deal with that.

         The Orc dances like MC Hammer....really? Wow that acually does interest me...I have to see this sometime. I think that it would be amusing at least to see an Orc dance like that.

    a tauren is better if you're going for enchantement

    an orc is better if you're going for elemental combat

         Alright well hmmm....i'm not sure at the moment which I will go for but I will look more into them when I think about it and make my final decision soon hopefully. Maybe I'll just go a completely different direction and make a Troll Hunter.
