I just want to start out by saying i bought this game about 2 months ago and i never looked into this game prior to it's release nor was i a warhammer fan or have i played the table top game. This game has just been so amazing that i had to write a topic about it. I bought this game because i wanted to relive the old days of dark age of camelot that world of warcraft could never bring back for me, and that is almost essentially what i got!! This game has more incentive for world PVP than any other mmorpg and is fucking awesome fun!! I just went on a RAID in Mount Gunbad today (dungeon) with my guild (DOGS OF WAR BABY) we had a full wrarband of about 20 people taking out huge baddies left and right. We have over 300 members in our guild ,we have a vent server, the orginazation is coming together and it is AMAZING.. I've never been part of a guild like this before, we are like an actual ARMY of soldiers each having our own unique role on the battlefield, there is siege warfare, we steal small objective, keeps, huge castles , everything is just amazing in this game. With time this game can grow to be something very great, maybe even more so than DAOC ever hoped to achieve.. If you are tired of childishness of WoW and want a real WAR then come on get it now and join the game of WAR!!!!!!!

OP: most people have bought the game by now and made up their own conclusions. No problem with giving your own thoughts after wading through pages of negative comments.
But this Wow comparing is silly. The market within Wow that was interested already visited the stores and now are back or stay (X/X you choose), I don't care. The others just await for WotLK.

As I stated in a prior post, the game may not suited for everyones playstyle, but there are people like myself enjoying the game and what it offers now. So again, welcome aboard and get ready for WAR!

I agree, at least to me, this game is the best MMO out there right now, despite it being just over 1 month out of beta.
Take your time getting to rank 40.... because once you get there, you will wish you hadn't...
The roller coaster ends rather crudely..
Yeah I'm happy with taking my time instead of rushing to 40 and having no RvR because I'm all alone. I'd planned this since before launch, though, and am holding down my leveling speed by having four separate characters to play. I picked one of each archetype and this also helps me a lot in learning the difference in play styles - this gives an understanding that I find tremendously helpful both in PvP and PvE.
This way tier 4 should be quite active by the time I get there.

I agree this game is damn good.But i like PvP more then PvE.So the player killing is what attracks me.Anyone can kill a computer.

I play WAR and I visit the forums of all the MMOs I play. The reasons ? To discuss the game with other people who play, here the latest gossip and news, and to find out info about quests, server issues, drama, hints, and whatever else might pertain to the game I ENJOY playing -- to discuss these things with the COMMUNITY that actually plays the game. Also, I dont play the game 24/7, I have things to do outside the game and frequenting the message boards of the hobby I enjoy is one of them. To even ask this, shows how immature and ignorant you are.
