Mythic entertainment has posted another round of fixes for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
Capital Cities
* The entrance requirements to the officer rooms in both guild taverns have been adjusted. You must now be an officer or the leader of a rank 16 guild or higher to enter.
Combat and Careers
Bright Wizard
* Scintillating Energy: Fixed an issue that was causing the stun component of this ability not to function.
Content
* Chests located in Dark Elf chapter 14 will no longer try to attack players.
* Silversong Bladesingers: These NPCs were not intended to drop any coin or loot items, but were doing so anyway. This issue has been fixed.
* The warcamp guards at Kargrund’s Stand have been adjusted to be the desired difficulty level.Items
* Might: This Engineer epic quest reward item has been fixed to have the appropriate stat bonuses.
* Bonus effects granted by certain weapons will no longer persist after the weapon is removed, or stack when zoning.

Great! As if Bright Wizards aren't over powered enough already with their ability to 2 shot kill most all classes except tanks, knockback and root, they now can also stun. Must be nice.
this fix applies to magus and sorceress as well..

Bright Wizards are NOT overpowered. Try playing one before you make that statement. They're the squishiest class in the game and are dead as soon as someone is on them.

Crafting is NOT important in this game. If anyone came to WAR saying "Oh I just can't wait to craft craft craft", they need to be checked out.

BW not OP huh you must be playing a different game to the rest of us then.
Oh and yes they are squishy but when compared to other dps classes which are amost or as squishy their damage is out of control.

Don't forget to take into consideration in order for the BW to GET that type of damage, they have to build up combustion pretty high which results in some nasty kickbacks. I only have a low level one, but I can hit someone for 600 points and get a 300 point kickback. That, plus the fact they dont have hardly any armor protection and hitpoints, and the so called "OP" of the BW comes at a pretty high stake.

As long as it exists in the game it is importand.
Ill let you in a secret on how to defeat BW's
Run PAST the tank that's guarded by three healers and get the BW first, trust me. they die if you even breath on them.
The most common thing in scenarios is that everyone attacks that highest level tank, ignoring all the healers and casters behind him and then cry about how they had no chance.

Hehe, everyone complaining based on Damage, ts ts ts.
The game features one of the best Class balance systems around as far as Level based games are concerned.
It is based on Group Combat and Class Synergy, in a Paper, Rock, Scisors Fashion, which in its simplest form can be expressed as such:
TANKS > MDPS > RDPS/HEALERS > TANKS
Bright Wizzards and Sorcerer's role is to Kill Tanks, they depend on Own Tanks for Protection against enemy MDPS.
If the Enemy MDPS is trying to Kill Tanks, then that is suicide for them, and gives a free pass to the casters to wreck havoc.

I enjoy the crafting system, and while I hate BW's, I can still kill them and survive. You see a hex on you, just run away, let them target someone else, then come back fo the kill.
I have no problem with a dps class being able to dps, but when you see a battle with over half the opposing team one class you have a problem.
This and the chain CC along with that huge dps means instant death to melee no matter how many heals you have on them.
I play both factions and can see this as an issue, other dps classes are just as squishy but have nowhere near the dps the next patch seems to be addressing this to some degree.
