Every character should start as a Jedi or Sith... everyplayer is Jedi or Sith... that can be great! otherwise.. a melt of jedi/stih and other classes... is crap... like galaxies... why... because jedis/siths are meant to be powerful... nerfing them for some balancing make the star wars mytho of jedi/sith own look bad... therefore no star wars at all... to fix the problem there is only two ways... no jedi and sith at all... or all jedi and sith at all.... the mytho of jedi > everyone isnt balance... but breaking the mytho is like a big dog CRAP all over the place....

First of all OP, horrible idea. If you have just jedi and sith, how is it an MMO? You are asking for an action game or a single player game, so why don't you stop pretending to like MMOs?
Jedi/Sith are NOT gods. Only the heroes featured in the films (as MAIN characters) were very powerful. None of you seem to understand that single player stories DO NOT WORK in MMOs. If you make everyone Luke Skywalker (which is what the SWG NGE is all about), then how have you effectively told an MMO story and not an MMO story? Where is the immersion if everyone is Luke/Vader? And no, not everyone wants to be a Jedi. In fact, the first three films (4,5,6) focused much more on the galaxy as a whole rather than just the Jedi. It was more about the PEOPLE of the galaxy...the Rebels, the evil Empire that is oppressive, the crime lords, and so many more. Star Wars is awesome because it is so epic, not so limited like your vision for just a Jedi game is.
To all the people who cry that games shouldn't be balanced, go play FPS. You CANNOT have alpha classes, and if you do, well...your game is just an e-peen fest with a bunch of tards. It also defeats the purpose of having classes in the first place, no?

You shouldn´t overpower classes just because ppl can´t play. If you do, don´t mind bring any other classes at all.
Galaxies blunder was allow Jedis... thats all.. that mix of Jedis and uncle owens... didnt work well.. unbalance... but if u nerf jedi... bye bye star wars mytho....

Jedis were fine at the start. With permadeath. Only for the REAL hardcore crowds to ENSURE the numbers were low. Though the idiots screwed it up and removed permadeath and made becoming a Jedi as simplistic as walking (but only taking a bit of a while instead).

I suppose any skilled rifleman can have a fair 1v1 against any padawan in the Star Wars world. I am not worried at all that Jedis will become too powerful. Everyone relates this with SWG... I'm starting to believe that PreCU mess up the idea of star wars in mmo... thats it..
