I'd love to be a beta tester so I could go on the forums and bitch slap some of the whiny ass BETA EXPERTS.
It kills me how some of them could say the game isn't ready and shouldn't be released. And if it is it will be a horrible or even disastrous mistake. Yet they log back into the game and play for another few hours.
Grrr....why do I even go to those wretched forums. I just get pissed off and have to kick my dog.

Just let em whine and cry. The only reason they make statements about pushing back or holding off the release is because they love playing the game without so many people. Lack of other players lets them run places that have monster spawns and what not. The longer closed beta goes on, the bigger the edge will be for beta testers. Whether or not the game is ready is not their issue.
I've wanted to say the following for a while but never really could find the time and place. What difference would it make if the game went out on shelves tomorrow or not? Isn't the game being constantly upgraded with patches anyways? I know they would want to get it as far along as possible so they don't have to deal with that. But it's not going to kill them to release it a week or two after open beta begins. The game is constantly being upgraded. Who cares if it's not perfect?

I get a little frazzled as well sometimes when I go to the beta site. Just this weekend alone I really wished I could have posted lol.
When they were doing the maintenance and the servers were down from Thursday til early Saturday, there were so many talking about how they were going to quit the game. I could understand their argument as far as the ETA being off the whole night of Friday, but to go to the extent of threats how they have poor customer service/support is wrong. They were getting mad at others who would say "it's beta, what do you expect?" than they would just go on a fit about how it was still wrong, even though it was beta .. yadda yadda yadda...
Anyhow tho, yes they say that release shouldn't be until at least December, or early next year. I say leave it to blizzard to decide. I am sure they know what they are doing, plus they are working a lot of hours daily now, more than they were in the beginning.
Just when you read something there that pisses you off, go to the next thread or find another website to alternate with. I know you can get a rather annoying headache reading whats going on in there.
On a good note, not all of them are bad people. There are some good testers out there that are not greedy/selfish.

If they where going to quit they just would they would not say anything they would just leave. But they are both addicted to the game and greedy about the game. They actually think that Blizzard would have the servers down for 2 or 3 days without a major natural disaster destroying the hosting center during the retail. Unlikey. As for the game not being ready for retail as was previously stated the game will be continually patched throughout its lifetime. I got to play for about 5 hours (due to holidays) during the stress test. And I know that i might not be able to comment on how finished the game is but it is pretty good, good enough I would of paid for it in a store. Hopefully they open it up for others soon and the noobs can be silenced, more so I hope it does make the November 15/16 release so I don't have to hear anything from testers only from players.

Actually if I was in their shoes I would be saying the truth not saying not to release the game. And if it was not ready for release because of content or something else I would be saying let more players in, open beta, to increase testing of all content and new content added. I would not be saying no way. And yes I did do this during the UO test when I was in the original beta which had only a few thousand players allowed in.
Only people who know if it is ready or not are the beta testers and blizzard.
Regardless if it is ready or not, people outside can't form opinions on the game. For example last past they introduced a very critical bug which is very bad to people not having more than one cooling fan on their athlon cpus.
In the fact it crashes out every 5 seconds in game.
My Point: People outside of the beta testing can't form opinions on the beta just by reading the forums. Granted the game is probably ready now easily by far for any beta i have tested. But random Joe's cant just say its ready without evidence beforehand.
And the main driving force behind your reasoning is the fact you can't wait to play the game, not that your truly know the client is unbuggy etc.
Still Hunters need their talents and the lvling definately needs to be tweaked yet. So id say at least another month or two before it releases. As they've already stated they gonna release at least 2 more patches.

Still with WoW being non-nda id say if they released the game now it would be better than some other mmorpg releases that have gone ahead... SWG, Horizons,Ryzom... etc etc
Still blizzards moto is... its done when its done, it will get released when its done and not before that, regardless of what these forum people are saying.
I wouldn't get so worked up about them, afterall theres always a few bad eggs in every beta. I mean theres prob about 5000+ beta testers or something, you dont see them all bitching and whining now do u?
when open beta comes their chars will be wiped :P, so maybe thats whats annoying them hehe.

why does so many people whine about other people whining.
Beta testers whine, it's their job, I REALLY don't see what's the problem about that. Blizzard read everything on that forum, and when they see someone whining and more and more people agreeing to the whinage, they take it in consideration and make the game BETTER. I play WoW, and I am happy to see people whining cause most of the time they whine about things that actually annoy me. And you know what?, I'm sure those things would annoy YOU, if you'd play the game. OOhhh and now you might tell "they often whine for useless things". Aight then, you know what? If it's useless other people reply consequently, and Blizzard doesn't consider that whinage.
