Yesterday I finally saw the pre-order box at Best Buy. I was encouraged by this. How firm does the community beleive the release date is for Nov. 15th.

It looks like a very strong date to me.

It's a solid date. It will (for sure) be coming out in november, and most likely the 15th. Open beta is almost ready and will probably go on for about 2 weeks then it will ship.

i think its a good guess for a release date but since thats less than a month away and blizzard has not announced a date i'm still a little suspicious of it.... i plan on pre-ordering still but i'm not betting anything on the 15th... i would have expected blizzard to announce the 15th as a firm date if it was going to make it by then... i won't be sold on any date until i see it as an official post by blizzard.

My guess for the past few months and still my guess to this date is mid-early December...say December 7th.

I seriously doubt this, They still have a month to go and you know what? All mmorpgs dont have to be perfect on release. I personally think that if they implement talents and battgrounds, the game is ready for release

I don't believe anything I read anymore. It doesn't matter where it comes from. A friend of mine works at Media Play here in Cincinnati. He informs me that the date copies will hit shelves is Nov 22. I got that info about a week ago. He claims his release list was updated that morning. So one person sees it at Media Play on the 22 and another sees it at Best Buy on the 15. No one knows.

The pre-order box for halo 2 came a LONG time ago yet look at its realease date history!

I expect WoW to be late but only by a week. I do expect it to be released before Thanksgiving. This will be a big seller for Blizzard for Christmas.

I was under the impression that WoW hadn't gone Gold yet, doesn't it usually take about a month after a game goes gold to hit the shelves??

If so that means that I doubt we'll be seeing it on the 15th.

Well I would normally pre-order, but with few mmpg releasing and few with new expansion. Since blizzard has put back the release date more than once on other games. I will not lock my self into wow. Dont get me wrong I like wow. If they put off release after the new year I will go with something else. I am the type of person that doesn't like to keep spending money on the games. I will park myself in one game and play that for least a year or something go major wrong (hint NF and TOA in Daoc). Sad thing is I spent 2.5 years in daoc before it went way to badly. That is how I feel about daoc. Don't know if its just me but releaseing an article with open beta starts soon watch the next few days for more info and its been over a week. Maybe I am just to eager for ob hehe.
