Yes, this is an excellent game that steps away from the tired old template of most MMORPGS. It provides you with alot of customization in terms of how you fight (Sadly, it could use more customization in the field of appearance), as you can mix and match from many different "Mercs", the fighters you can hire and control. It has a good number of ways you can participate in PVP, from 1vs1 challenges, (Involving your entire party, of course) to more competitive pvp like the Free LEague and Arena, to all out wars between guilds and nations, which can include up to 54 player controlled fighters in one battle. Sometimes in Free League you'll get matched up unfairly, but thats a problem that can be worked out as the game becomes more popular. The towns themselves run completely on guilds that can control them, giving them alot of control over the players that visit the towns, such as deciding how much their town's market should Tax people. Speaking of the Market, players have alot of control over the price of items. An item that might cost 600 gold at a fixed price at infinite supply might slowly become 60gold, due to players selling their own items lower than what the game sells them for. You can also get alot of things done without being active, like auto-crafting. Oh, and did I mention the games map is based on earth? A magic and fantasy infested earth, mind you, but an earth nonetheless. The time period shifts from place to place, and NPCS like Caesar and Nikola Tesla are allowed to walk the planet at the same time, but that just makes the game all the cooler. Honestly, if you want to get a new mmorpg experience, play this game.

Its a very fun game a nice change from killing one monster at a time.  You do kill one monster at a time but the monsters are all in one group when you are fighting.  Final Fantasy style.  Watch out for stamina, once that hits 0 you get a lower exp rate, and drop rate.  But you get 100 a day I belive and if you have 20 left over from the day before it goes up to 120.  There are ways that you can increase your stamina to.

I have noticed that its alot of go to x dungeon kill x monsters, get reward, and kill evil boss at the end to destroy an acient device.  But hey its still fun especially if more monsters join in your current battle.  It gets challenging.

When somebody asks a question with a sentence, I find it hard not to answer back with a paragraph.

It is really hard to convince a person especially you have different tastes. For me, I am truly enjoying the game. But if ever I try to convince you that the game is indeed great, but it doesn't suits your taste, then it would be nothing. I suggest that you try playing the game, go up at least level 15-20 before deciding if you like it or not. Because in the first stages of the game, you won't experience what Atlantica Online really has to offer.

I started out trying the game myself as well. You can see it in one of the posts i did here a month ago i believe and that is when i started loving the game. It still has a few glitch but doesn't give that much of an impact to the game. Plus the devs continue on creating foxes for those so for me it makes this game very promising. But of course, all games have glitches. I also believe that games have different style and likes when it comes to a game which made me try it out myself since there are a lot lot of discussions going on about this game. I do hope you end up liking it as well. By the way, the community so far in game is very helpful, specially in guilds so for sure, you won;t get lost. In anycase, happy gaming.

Honestly unless you cnat afford a reall mmo, or your really into trun based combat this might not be as interesting as the hype/ atlantica spamming this site might let it appear.

Like all cash shop games, if you want to be among the top players you'll have to spend quite a lot of money in order to be competitive, the graphics are not great sure its better than wow but wow isnt known for good graphics. The art style is like many asian grinds, liek it or dont thats up to you.

I didnt get any lag , but that might have been because I played at euro times and most us players are sleeping at that time.

Character customisation like in many asian grind is limited, very limited (didtnt try cash shop) and durign your fist hours of play you'll be seeing clones of your char everywhere.

This game might be better than most free games, but is def not on the same lvl as games that have a sub.

This game is basically like all games that tried to take a step back in some area.

It basically sacrificed something for being better in another area.

In this game appearance, appearance customization, immersion, and free form combat is sacrificed.

What it gained is strategy, a boost in gameplay, battle customization, and other stuff I haven't got to yet.

I don't dislike these games anyways, after all I even play wonderland online just because the how the gameplay is designed rules, even though both graphic and combat system are like 2-D and turn based, and animation are choppy.  (That is basically how little graphics means to me when a system is interesting)

It really depends on where your preference lie.  Honestly, so far it has been about average for me.

Give it a try is all I can say.
