About time they started to compare consoles games against the PC.

Makes me glad all I use is a PC
Im sort of surprised how well Fallout 3 works. Even after going into the INI files and upping the graphics to ultra extreme full settings I had no lag. Well except when I had the radio running and went into a building or loading a game. Seems to lag it to death almost. The dust devils blew me away! Seriously amazing seeing leaves and little suck up into such amazing random shapes. Then again the explosions make me slobber!
That and the body parts falling off in combat. Albeit last night I think I about puked when I used a ripper on someones leg and his guts apparently came out... err that was gross. Albeit awesome at the same time!
Something about running into a pack of Muties with a ripper and cutting a arm off and making a whole pack of muties run off like babies makes me giggle
Not shocked.... not shocked at all.
But then, when it comes to raw power-house systems, I back the PC any day, any time.
(Course power isnt everything, but...)
Inevitability really; the PS3 and 360 released when 7 series GeForces were the top of the line I think. They're three years old and expected to have a ten year life cycle, at least the PS3 that is, so the contrasts will only get starker.
That guy was a bit lenient on the PS3 version, it has a good deal of graphical issues and some lighting issues.
Egh my cimputer isn't that great and it will stay that way, plays the games I want too and I can keep playing games like FO3 on my 360, even after seeing the PC stuff I still think the 360 verison is amazing.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

Unfortunately, not a whole lot of PC users can run Fallout 3 on those graphics..whereas every single 360 and ps3 owner will be able to run fallout on their system.
And I'm not just bitter, my computer runs fallout 3 just fine.

Often the case, but hey... $10 less is ALOT more universal.... unless you buy at Target.... so dont.
well although i knew the PC version was better i still purchased the PS3 version of the game. PC version comes with a DRM(securerom 7) which is stupid because hackers are still going to hack the game and i just want the game not add-ons.Which bethesda is known to keep that crap off disc, like they did with morrowind. I would have also thought of getting the xbox 360 version over the PS3 but i am at a point where i hate Microsoft due to the red rings of death killing my xbox as of late so i get all multiplatform games on the PS3. As for Fallout 3 looking better on the PC its not to a point where your like OMG why didnt i get the PC version. Still same game, and even though they said no downloadable content for the PS3 it will happen its just sony doesn't have a good form to do it yet like xbox live. When PS3 Home finally releases this stupid ps3 never gets downloadable content will end.

Well if the damn game was a game and not a movie they might of brought it to the PC. Ive been watching cut scenes ever since i started playin MSG4 eh.
Seriously? Ive never had an issue with secuROM.... ever. Maybe its because I keep a powerhouse aside for gaming, but.... huh? As long as it looks for the disc instead of limited installs, I have no problem at ALL with secuROM.
PC rules supreme, no news really. One thing that struck a bit odd, for me at least, is that 360 kicks PS3 in graphs. I mean, PS3 certainly has the hardware, right?

Yeah thats the problem. SecuRom does nothing in the battle to stop piracy so why is it added on? I purchased the game fair and square so whatever i do with the medium is not for them to regulate. If I'm not breaking any copywrite laws why should i have to suffer because someone else will. And this goes for anykind of DRM in general no matter what it does or doesnt do.

Hey, if you want to buy it then crack it, go ahead... Im the last one to stop you. In fact, I think it's a legit action to take. I just dont get the venom aimed specifically at securom.

phenominal game... I have the demo on steam, and Im telling you on the PC it's still damn impressive... if not just for the "dead rising" element (literally SWARMS of zombies).... only these things MOVE!

You arent, but almost everyone Ive seen go after DRM as of late has gone specifically after SecuROM. Personally, I look at the features used in those programs, look at a few sites (including their own) and my verdict is to aim at the publisher, since they are the ones opening the craptastic features. (Im looking at you EA and Ubisoft... almost Ubisoft can not be saved and their titles are cut like a cancer from my libraries.)
