Thats so gay www.worldofwarcraft.com they are letting more freaking people play who were in the stress test jesus christ do they forget there are people out there who want to play and werent in the stress test or the closed beta and what about us huh nothing they dont care they are nazis. Realse open beta u nazis

I think they're just finally announcing a list of the stress test winners, they were added a couple weeks back if i'm not mistaken. At this point the NA closed beta signup servers are down so I doubt anyone new was added since the weekend.
Hmm I think those people from ST are in the CB since a gooood while, it's just that Blizzard didn't take the time to post the list until today.
But the freaks that won that contest IMO deserve to play, they played like freaks to reach those high levels in the ST..
Yeah it's BS. Open Beta better be damn soon or else.... aww hell, I'm going to play anyways, but it's pissing me off nonetheless.

On the other hand, my name is on the list, I'm gonna mail that list to my parents. They'll be undeniably proud at my accomplishement.
Also of note that I am 32, have a job, and a family, and still managed to do that. Not all powergamers are overweight, acne speckled pre-teens with no social life. Sometimes playing smarter can be just effective as playing longer, if not more so.
Oh, and not to burst anyones bubble but i have bad news.
I was reading the WoW offical site boards liek i always do and one of the posts was from a player that plays a Druid on there and he was telling blizzard how he cant beleive that they are going to put open beta out so soon becuse of this reason and this reason well anyways scroll'd a bit down and saw some blue text and it said DONT WORRY THERE WILL STILL BE MORE PATCHES So yeah this really sucks.

It has nothing to do with playing smarter I to hold a 40 hr. per week job and i have a girlfriend I am nither overweight not pimplecoverd and I manage to "powerleve" in games all the time....its just how you play the game some people stand around and chat for an hour I go level lol.

I wasnt putting people who chat down at all I was simplying saying that just because i do not do that; that doesnt make me smater nor a better gamer. and i dissagree that tgey have a better time than I do thats just the way i play games (diffirent strokes for diffirent folks).

I don't think my post means what you think it means.
It was to address all the people that claimed that those that won the contest had no lives, and played 24/7. Which I do, and didn't, respectively. So yes, playing smarter can be, and usually is, more effective than playing longer hours.
What you donnt understand is that you are saying that just because someone doesnt powerlevel that somehow makes them "less smart" which is not the case.

Maybe you don't speak english as your native language. I don't know. But what you just posted has absolutely nothing to do with what I said. What I am saying is that people don't have to play 24/7 to be a powergamer. That playing smarter can be more effective than playing longer. At no point have I mentioned people that do no powerlevel. This has nothing to do with people that didn't powerlevel. Saying someone plays smarter does not have anything to do with being smarter.
I cannot think of anyway to make it any simpler for you.
I've got to agree with Cold Meat again on this one. The stress test winners we're NOT given to people that kissed the right butt and sucked up to Blizzard. The one's that are in the CB now are those that played SB and played the game as best they could to get to the upper levels. As far as favored people that got into the SB in the first place, your talking to one. I went through fileplanet like every other person who got into SB and signed up. Now I've tried to get in on EVERY beta Blizzard has ever had and this was the first. I've been turned down since Diablo 1!
I understand the frustration of not having the OB going but let me ask you something...
Are you mad because you are tired of waiting to be a part of the development of the GREATEST MMO ever to exist... OR, are you mad because every day that the OB is not going is one less day you have to play a game for free.
I have my personal opinions as to why your mad lilmanrun, but who knows maybe I'm wrong...

Blizzard just posted the list of the 720 Stress Test winners who won today. That's all. Some people just misunderstood what they meant and thought that more people had been added to the Closed Beta recently (meaning OB was still awhile away or something).
