Sick and tired of Scenarios already... This is what happens when you dumb down MMORPGS for the casual players, you end up with some bland repetitive PVE and PVP.
I am in a great guild with 120 members and good leaders. I have 2 lvl 40's and I find it very borring and haven't been logging in lately except for a few mins. I didn't expect a complete game content wise . I did however, expect PQ's and Scenarios to NOT be so freaking repitive and borring. Crafting is a joke and lacks any real arm grabbing content.
HEY! Lets go siege and take some empty KEEPS!!!
There is not much to look forward to with WAR... I'll go back to Beta testing Stargate Worlds and Star Trek O.
Have a good day....

There should be a 'Reasons I Quit X' or 'I dont like Y because...' thread so we can toss this one on the pile.
Two characters to 40 in two months of gaming?
Sounds like most games won't hold your attention for long if you blow through content that fast. That's what happens when you rush to the level cap and grind your way through levels.

What are you going to do? Explore the linear world? The game is repetitive no matter if you rush through it or not. You just do the same scenario over and over while doing quests and go in a line in the world.

If you get two level capped toons in two months, you blew through the levels and missed a heck of a lot of fun along the way.
No one says you *need* to do scenarios over and over again. That's your choice. If you want repetitive content, it's there. If you want to enjoy the ride.. there's plenty of options along the way.

I thought WAR had loads of things to do , PQs, oRVR, instances, SC, etc.
Much more than other MMOs.
If you find it repetitive then maybe cos you are playing it in a repetivite manner!?!
Have you done all the Tomb unlocks yet?
lol. Your'e cute. But unless you're working at or a family member of someone working at Cryptic, you're not beta testing dick there. My bro-in-law's wife's brother works for them, and they said I'm to distant to beta. So, if you do work there STFU and work. Otherwise, your epeen is tiny, kiddo.
too repetitive.
TOO repetitive....
bah I bet grammar and spelling were equally discarded in favour of the shiny new flashy thing in your pencil case.
The problem with some people in MMO"s is that they want to be the strongest with in the shortest amount of time. The problem with that is that you miss all the game content and quest rewards that you get for actually doing quests.
I know when i played Age of Conan the race was to get to 80, but the problem with that was that FUNCOM had not released any extensive endgame content so there was nothing to do at lvl 80. With Warhammer doing scenarios to level a character is not bad if you have leveled your first one by doing all the quests so that way it does not seem to repetative.
But at least the one thing i do know is that even if you hit lvl 40 the lvl cap that your journy is not over beecause there is still a Main City that needs to be taken over. And to do so there is alot that still has to be done for example some of the renown gear that is all epic you have to get up to like renown lvl 80 or so in order to actually be able to surive in a city capture.
But there is more than one way to get renown and that is by participating in keep take overs and defending the keeps. Then at the same time just do scenarios as well. The keep battles can also give good gear rewards as well as bragging rights to say that your guild capped and held the keep by them selves.
While i am still playing War, i have to kinda agree with the OP, i am only Rank 21, RR19, and i have been doing the samething, scenarios-----PQ wait for the next scenario to pop up----back to PQ/questing....and that pretty much sums it up....I love PvP, but i also love the thrill of taking down impossible mobs in a raid...so maybe this game doenst offer me what i am looking for...who knows.

It says alot about the game design and how bad it is at that to allow someone to level 2 chars to max level in a month.
The problem with the "too repetitive" line is that it can be said about almost every MMO. Back when I played WoW, the #1 complaint was that it was a repetivie grind. Same as CoH, LOTRO, GW, etc etc etc. If you find the non grind wonder-game (except the original UO; it was the non grind wonder game :P), please let us know!

Longer than a month... and don't blame the game design, blame the people who have no lives and NEED to be at level cap as fast as possible to help feed their online egos.
With determination, you can do that with ANY MMO.

BINGO! You hit the nail on the head.
It's not even just an MMO problem.... it's a global problem today. No one wants to wait or work for anything. It's the "I want it and I want it NOW" attitude, no matter if you can afford it or not.

Maybe the game design isnt flawed and maybe he played 16 hours a day and did do lots of the games content. Lets not assume to much and them assign blame where it may not be deserved.
I know how you feel, I am concerned that ORvR does not seem to have taken off, I think they should remove T3/T4 scnearios and force ORvR. You can do Bastion Stair raids for boss encounters, but seems most people are stuck in scenario mode and imo that is killing the experience

Ok kiddo lets walk through this. ( I hate the phrase kiddo, but if you are attempting a condescending post you deserve it)
Your brother-in-law = sister's husband
Brother-in-law's wife's brother = your brother
So your brother works for Cryptic?

Or could be his wife's sister's husband.
nope still doesn't work
Maybey a divorce was involved? I still call my ex brother in law my brother in law even though he and my sister split up.
That made me dizzy...lol
All games are repeatative if you play them too much.
At least you have all the PVE options of things to do as well as scenarios and open field RvR, lets not forget PQ's.
its more than say, having only the option of PvE grinding untill endgame.
See that is the thing that some people have to realize as well. Everyone has their own type of playing style and what they want to get out of a game. Even though that it is the same style as every other game it is something that your going to see because the gaming industry has to make games that is appealing to a certain type of target audience.
Everyone also knocks on WOW on how it is for kids but the simple fact is that the reason people play it is because it does not require a big technical aptitude of knowledge to play that game. Some people are hardcore technical players where as there are younger and older people that are more simple minded and like a game that they can just point and click with requiring very little skill to get accomplished what they are after. So in conclusion people need to just sit back and jot down all the pros and cons of a game and choose which pros of the game override the CONS that keep your interest to play that particular game. And always keep in mind there is always room for improvement for games it just takes time and patience.
I find PQ's are fun with a good group, an influence grindfest on the 1st stage without a group and some require a warband.
That said I am enjoying the PvE with the occasional scenario to finish off a level. Some more RvR would be nice.
renow level max is 80a dn no one is 80
Spot on! I dont think WAR was built to have the depth or scope of the more "hardcore" games, and playing WAR as hardcore as a lot of people do, I can see why theyd get burned out.
I am married and have kids, so frankly my time is limited, WAR is perfect for me in the fact that I can squeeze in 3 or 4 scenarios in a free hour. Then its back to responsibilities.
pve of the game is useless, at the end u need to level up renow, still dont know whats the point of pve
