    Haven't heard a word here yet. Can't wait to participate in the beta though. As a working guy, I was hoping to come home and find the beta invite so I could DL tonight and play tomorrow night.

    Ok this is the e-mail I got after I sent one in questing the status on the keys.

    This was the reply.   I just copied and pasted it.

    Anyone know how many more beta keys will be given out before realse?

    I won on EQ2 Warcry and got my key last night.  I think SOE waited for the results from all of the websites and sent out the keys in mass quantity.  I dl'd the client last night but it showed it would be a 4 hour download so I went to bed.  I'll be checking it out tonight when I get home from work.  I'm interested to see how it will run on my system:

     

    Athlon 2400

    1GB RAM

    GeForce Ti4800 128MB

     

    I'm hoping it runs decent enough to push off my upgrade till PCIe becomes more mainstream.

    Fact: Only 1% of those has Ebstein's Anomaly.
    Fact: My daughter is in that 1%.

    I have my key coming on Friday, apparently. Any way of downloading the client sooner than that in order to start testing as soon as the key gets here? How is Sony distributing the client?

    Nope. I answered this in another thread.  The download link they give you is for the "Launcher".  When you start the launcher for the first time, it updates itself and then you need to use the key to "subscribe" to the EQ2 Beta.  Only at that point will you be able to start downloading the client.
