Seriously what is all the hype about this game... i dont feel very excited all i can tell is that its going to have flying and everything else is going to be exactly the same as world of warcraft and warhammer with the gameplay mostly and its just going to have pretty graphics... wtf is all the hype about. I am excited about darkfall becuase its actually bringing something new to the MMORPG industry.. but i dont have my hopes set very high on that game either.. open beta was suppose to be out already and its not. People are even saying that Closed Beta is fake and that they are faking it in darkfall :P. Well anyways what is actually new in this game... seems just like another boring mmorpg where its the same crap over and over i would think they would add something interesting besides "flying" and some pvpve "_" . Anyways if there is something that makes this WORTHWHILE to actually be excited about this game please tell me :P.

One feature that I wish Aion had was the ability to change classes w/o creating a new character. I cannot figure out for the life of me why more games dont add this in the game, It doesnt need to be a duel class sysytem like RoM or FFXI Just let me change classes on the same character. idc if I have to mob grind xp because I did all the quest already or not. I could write an 1000 page novel on this subject, I wish I could get a solid answer from someone as to why the vast majority of games wont let you to change classes.

Being able to switch classes whithout a reroll in some form or another would be very cool, I tend to think of my characters as their own entities and when I try new classes it's like I'm extending my "family" like the alts are my main's sisters or something. It breaks the RP a bit that way..
Also it gets really tiring to grind the same old newbie content over and over and over, and by content I mean quests. I don't mind grinding the same lowbie mobs over and over, but quests can get more redundant, unless you no longer read them which tends to happen after a while.
By the worst game ever made you mean Runescape? Only played it at a public Library for 2 hrs, and that was time better spent playing Red Alert 2. I might not have as RICH an mmo background like you do, after all, I am but a humble RTS gamer, but I've touched base on a few MMOs, Lineage 2, WoW, City of Heroes/villains, Shaiya, 12 sky, 9 dragons, Silkroad, EVE, Perfect World, FlyFF, Cabal, Pirates of the Burning seas, Grenado Espada. Sorry that I havent gotten to play LOTR online, or WAR or AoC or the 20,000 other MMOs out there.
And you're right, not everyone likes to have wings or fly, BUT the game gives the option to those who want to, if you don't want to fly, then you can walk, simple as that.

If you want a game like that, Runes of Magic has a nice system. You level to 10, then get to choose another class as your secondary. You then alternate each one as primary/secondary depending on your preference at the time. Also, when you go to the newbie area to level up your second class, new quests will be available that you didn't get with the first class, so it's not a total grind/repeat type deal.

Yeah, Runes of Magic is great stuff, but it's not P2P quality either, although it is very, very close!! I knew about the sub classes and switcheroo which is twice more options then most games, but I wish I could totally change jobs to all of them, or can you?

Because they say they are waiting for DF... Sad to hear it's the same people trolling over there too... We're not putting every Darkfall in one basket just those who come here and mouth off while having a DF sig/avatar or more posts in that forum.
Whether you are a WoW, Darkfall, WAR, AoC fan ect... If you come here and treat us allright we'll treat you the same, but if you don't, what else can you expect? Personally I have nothing against Darkfall or any other game, but I do have something against condescending posts that insult what we enjoy in gaming.

Right now not sure, but there has been speculation after a beta player found signs indicating you could gain a third class at least, but it's not enabled ingame yet. The theory is that you'll eventually be able to level all the classes on one character, gaining the ability to use the subset of skills like you do now with the secondary class system. But it is only speculation right now. Even if you can only get that third class, that's a myriad of skillsets you could use for a character.

Being able to switch classes whithout a reroll in some form or another would be very cool, I tend to think of my characters as their own entities and when I try new classes it's like I'm extending my "family" like the alts are my main's sisters or something. It breaks the RP a bit that way..
Also it gets really tiring to grind the same old newbie content over and over and over, and by content I mean quests. I don't mind grinding the same lowbie mobs over and over, but quests can get more redundant, unless you no longer read them which tends to happen after a while.
Off topic:
If you want a game like that, Runes of Magic has a nice system. You level to 10, then get to choose another class as your secondary. You then alternate each one as primary/secondary depending on your preference at the time. Also, when you go to the newbie area to level up your second class, new quests will be available that you didn't get with the first class, so it's not a total grind/repeat type deal.

the player vs player vs AI is another big part.
Why do people assume that every troll is a Darkfall fan? These people post in the DF forums but they are trolling just like they are here, they aren't fans they are trolls.
Because they say they are waiting for DF... Sad to hear it's the same people trolling over there too...
We're not putting every Darkfall in one basket just those who come here and mouth off while having a DF sig/avatar or more posts in that forum.
Whether you are a WoW, Darkfall, WAR, AoC fan ect... If you come here and treat us allright we'll treat you the same, but if you don't, what else can you expect? Personally I have nothing against Darkfall or any other game, but I do have something against condescending posts that insult what we enjoy in gaming.

Right now not sure, but there has been speculation after a beta player found signs indicating you could gain a third class at least, but it's not enabled ingame yet. The theory is that you'll eventually be able to level all the classes on one character, gaining the ability to use the subset of skills like you do now with the secondary class system. But it is only speculation right now. Even if you can only get that third class, that's a myriad of skillsets you could use for a character.

'Troll bait' what does that mean? I asked an honest question and you assume I'm a troll, I don't amazingly have time to read what people think the game will have, I'd like to know what the game actually has so thats why I won't be openning 'those little peepers' to read all the threads. Also I definatly don't want you repeating urself over and over, I might lose my head or something, but I'd like to know where the information is, as I couldn't find jack on their website.

So I ask again, what does this game have apart from flying and graphics, you can't say it has polish as on koreans are playing it, and I doubt any game out there has ever had polish on launch.
