Why does society look down at you for not following the normal?

They say I'm in my mid 20's and I havn't grown up and should act like an adult but all I see around me is boring people who are miserable. They go to their shit jobs they hate to be able to feed their family and do it day in and day out without doing anything with their life but go out to Ikea cause the Wife or G/F wants a bed.... oh joy! I mean frigging I used to go out alot of nights with my old mate on our Motorbikes and we used to have sooo much fun just going for rides and seeing the country we live in. Then he got a soon to be wife and they're only together because she got pregnant and wouldn't get an abortion. She then turned him against me and now he hates me because she smokes while pregnant so I grabbed the smokes off her and she told him I tried to hit her. Now he's a boring twat who just stays in all the time with a bitch of a G/F....
This happened to most of my friends, once they got a girl they suddenly stopped going out because if they spent time with their mates then the bitches would be mad. With another mate of mine we were playing Rock Band and getting pissed and having a great time and his girl came back and kicked us all out : It was like wtf are you gonna take orders from a stupid cunt who can't have fun? It's like wtf happens to guys when a woman takes over man, invasion of the body snatchers like....
The weird thing is though is they'll call you a bum with no future and say you need to grow up. However I'm having fun..... I'm not a stressy bitch whose idea of fun is to spend the night in and moan at her B/F. I don't go to a job everyday that I hate just to be able to go to go to a job I hate the next day and the next until I die. I mean I don't understand why if you be yourself and want to have fun in life and don't follow the norm of settling down with a bitch who gets pregnant and sticks a ball and chain on your leg so you have no life again.
I'm in my Mid 20's and I'm not going anywhere job wise, but nore do I want to so why look down at me. I work in workshop making PC's and repairing them all day long and I enjoy it because I find it easy and my boss gives me alot of freedom aslong as I finish everything on my desk. I don't want to be a doctor and I don't want to be famous or a lawyer or any of that stuff that people think you need to be these days. I want to have my low paying job that gives me enough money to do what I like doing in my spare time which is having fun.
I want to buy some land, make a small house with my mate so we can live in and get drunk, play soem rock band and build a small wooden roller coaster to see if we can do it. I want to save enough money in the process with my mate so we then can travel the world on our motorbikes (I have a ducati 1098 and he has a GSXR) and just have fun in life. I'm not interested in getting married or having kids or having a high paid job....
I just don't get why society looks down on you for wanting to do that with your life.

There are a couple different factors at play in such cases:
- Conditioning: Modern society teaches youth that the ideal life involves/requires hard work and dedication, and that deviating from such is pure laziness.
- Jealousy: Human nature is such that unfortunately many choose to drag others down if they are able.
- Religion: Most faith systems, Christianity included, discourage and/or outright forbid various aspects of a more... vicarious lifestyle.
Frankly, I see this issue from a somewhat different perspective. I firmly believe that a succesful life is best defined by the individual, and that few people are truly suited for the greyed out work center many of us are stuck in. If the life you choose makes you happy and is within your reach, live it.
Personally, I don't think I would ever be truly satisfied with millionaire riches, fame, or even simpler goals as you describe. Not that the first or third part would be unwelcome to me. I want to be able to look at the world, see a significant and positive change, and be able to honestly say "I caused that".

I would suggest you save this post for about 20 years and reread it then. As for an answer to your question, I'd say your fighting evolution. Natural selection simply doesn't favor social apathy.
Have you looked at society lately? I'm not so sure there's such a thing as "normal" anymore.

Simple answer?
Fear.
People naturally fear what they don't understand.
How do they deal with that fear?
They try to downplay you, to elevate themselves, in their own mind if noone elses.
This makes them feel "in control" and "right".
Nothing you can do about it. Just go with the flow. Ignore the ones you can, be polite to those who will at least listen and try to understand, and beat the shit out of the rest.
You'll find life much more pleasurable with this outlook.
People are sometimes easier to program than those computers you play with all day at work because they do not understand the world system. The world system is predicated on a principle of money masters and debt slaves, debt slaves that are indoctrinated to be so, almost unquestioningly, from the day they enter school, and once they are officially trapped within the systems coils they are usually too wrapped up in them to see the full scope of their plight. The fact is 99% of us never had any financial training in school despite using money every single day. This redacted education is the key to much of their illusion. I mean think about it, can you really "buy" a house, do you really own it? Miss 2 mortgage payments and its gone, even if you pay it off and miss 2 tax bill payments its gone. With a car, you're never done paying for it because of insurance, and people may say insurance is good, but why not pay up to a maximum dollar amount and then your covered? Thats how surety bonds work. $100 dollars gets you $10,000 of coverage for 15 months, so even though its not forever its still much more reasonable. The name of their game is slavery under the guise of success and they have many ways to shackle you. So when those that are shackled see someone that is seemingly not trapped and living worry free, they are envious and angry that you didn't fall in line and worse,didn't suffer for it, but even more so that they did. As far as religion is concerned, I'm a christian and Jesus never said be like the world and join up with it, in fact he says the opposite, everyone in the bible drops out of standard society but for the purpose of walking the righteous path and witnessing the gospel, not partying. Any controls it talks about are basically broken down to love your neighbor as yourself and don't put anything higher than God. Also gettin married is a really good thing (actually even helps us live longer and happier), but if you marry a slave minded girl she's probably gonna expect you to be a slave like her, and if you're not careful, TO her. Hey, hard work is a good thing, but this blue/white collar slavery of these corporate chieftains and its most powerful tool, materialism, I despise.

Competition is everywhere. Whether its stats/items/levels in an online game or the new family that just moved in on the block that feels they need to buy that H3 and put yellow support our troops stickers all over it. Others show us their competitive side by buying cheap cars and strapping fartpipes and spinning chrome hubcaps on them to make them faster. Or getting the last word/post in on a message forum so it makes them look like they are right.

It has nothing to do with Camelot. Actually, the truth is, that's the year that It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World was released. They don't make movies like that anymore. That's not normal. The JFK assassination came shortly after that.
Besides, John Kennedy was conservative by today's standards. He wouldn't even recognize the Democratic Party today, nor would he fit into it.
Thats exactly what my mentality on life is and i honestly dont care, i like it. Go to college for the experience and have a decent job afterwards.
I always argue with people about this but i honestly would rather not be very wealthy or famous because thats when corruption and greed sets in, when no one else matters except for youself and the people directly related to you, id rather live a humble life while struggling at times to bring me back to reality. Maybe if i met a girl that would let me do whatever i wanted or had fun with me and my friends id consider something more but right now i like my life. Some people will tell me wait until 20 years from now youll regret it, but i dont care it seemed like a good idea at the time so you shouldnt really regret it like everything else in life. All i have to say is maturity is over rated, there was a time where i "acted" mature because it was cool or made me feel good or made people view me better, but fuck that when you really become mature youll know it and stop acting like it, and live your life the way you want to regardless of what people may think. Some people may tell me im the reason why this planet is going to shit, but put it this way ( in the words of a famous sociologist) you cannot know good without evil and translate it to you can not know hard work without laziness, i consider myself the lazy factor and i believe i am here for all the hard workers to look down upon while i laugh in their faces and their miserable lives.
Maybe someday i will regret all of this mentality and all the stuff i did, i am not ignorant to that, but then i will think to myself it seemed like a good idea at the time in hopes that it will give me peace of mind, it may work or it may not but thats what lifes about isnt it? Taking risks, messing up and all that other good stuff, it makes you who you are and an all around better individual because you are constantly learning.
