The player mention this is the short distance flying pic, don't know what he means, maybe an ability or what.

Short distance flying is probably referring to a short distance plotted course flying. I remember Aion allowing both free fly (limited time) and a sort of plot course flying to between places. However, I could be wrong.
As for these pictures, all I can say is that it looks nice. They say nothing about the design as a whole, but at least they showed certain aspect of the graphics design. I wish I was in Taiwan now, I was born there, but Aion probably won't be in America for a little while yet.
Actually the writer sneak in to play the Korea OB, he knew some korean friends to help him with a game id. I think after Korea, NCsoft will emphasize in China, i heard rumour stated China might get OB end of this year, most of the translation already done. Then, early next year, turn US and Europe, Taiwan would be later on.
To move between tiers you have to use the "long distance" teleport, to move within the tier from city to city you use the bird teleport.
i trully hope so for beta in europe at the beginning of 2009..

WoW kiddies always say that everything either looks like WoW or sucks so much unlike WoW, typical.
Screenshots look nice! Glad that you have an option to make you Asmodian to look... less dark, heh (wonder if it applies to male chars as well).

Ummm... if you mean graphics quality... WoW isn't even close to Aion.
If you mean graphics design style, all I have to say to you is that, all MMORPG are basically designed that way. WoW to me looked alot like alot of other older MMORPG too. Design style and gameplay have nothing to do with each other. If you believe just because it look like WoW that it will be the same as WoW, then go play WoW
A game's design style is determined by their developer related to the type of experience they want to convey to the players. There aren't that many styles to begin with, so games will always look slightly similar to another game in one way or another. WoW is no exception to this.

Doesn't look as impressive as I would have guessed from some of the official screenshots and videos. Could be the grafphics card used here, tho. The lightning is a bit weak and I am missing environmental shadows, like from trees and generally everything expect player models.There are some in the later pics, but overall it feels a bit lacking, dunno.
Then again, its a PvP game, so performance > eyecandy, I guess

No, it's not. Transportation using the ghost looking bird thing is on-a-rail though.
from what I heard is your computer system has to be the newest and highest inorder to run this game smothly as the screenshot.
some of the beta player was complaning about how the graphic didnt turn out very well for regular game player.

This is correct, and actually the reason has nothing to do with just reviving. The lower your health goes the more labored your breathing is. When you revive you spawn with only about 1/4 of your health thus the labored breathing.

The screenies look nice. Not sure WTF people are smoking if they think that looks like WoW but I need to get some! The graphics and art style look absolutely nothing like WoW.
Screenshots don't do the game justice. You need to see the game at high resolution with settings up to get the full effect
i still think lineage 2 is the most artistically beautiful mmo out there..aion will be similar in art direction and that makes me happy.
The majority of Korean's don't have very good computers. If you go by the "recommended spec's" you will be fine.
