I used to play back when it first released, and had a lvl 50 guardian was the leader of a guild called Mithril Guard, but unfortunately the guild broke up about 3 months into the game due to alot of folks moving on. I want to come back but can't remember what server I played on. LOL.
I actually miss this game and am looking forward to returning.
This video got me even more into it.

You picked a great and bad time to come back. The Xpac starts tommorow but the bad part is the servers are all down until then. I to played at the start and after a few months went back to WOW.
The Xpac for WOW is only adding things that have been done before but the legendary weapon system in MOM I dont think I have ever heard of a game doing that before. And I dont think any guilds will clear all the new content in 3 days either
The immersion and quality in this game is so much better than anything I have played before. Its really the first game I have read the quests in and the epic storyline is done so well even Blizzard couldnt copy it if they wanted to.
The server I play on (Gladden) is very populated so im sure whatever server you were on should be as well.Im not really thrilled about leveling 10 more levels but the way I play the game I usually dont really notice my XP bar.
Welcome back to LOTRO
Playing- Guild Wars 2, SWTOR

I've missed it too.. alot xD. I'm buying MoM next week and will be playing a Rune-Kepper on the server Evernight(EU) anyone know if that server still is populated like before?
Are you going to level up your current character to 60 or starting one of the new classes? I was thinking of starting a new warden or RK but wasn't sure. It would be nice to take my guardian up to 60 and explore the new content. hehe
I play Gladden too, great server!
I'm looking forward to the servers going back up.
I will probably continue my one and only lvl 50 on the server, but slowly as I have in the past.
I'm still behind on the major book quests, and still have so many quests to complete in other parts of the world. I'm in no hurry to rush the new content!
Hey TSW Players http://www.unfair.co/ for Mission guides, Lore Locations and stuff....
Welcome back all! This is indeed a great time to return to Middle Earth!
I play on Evernight and it still have a good population and it seems to have grown alot lately!
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
I remember the server I played on. It was Arkenstone. How can I tell if the server still had good population?
When you reneew your sub you will have access to the official forums. you can then goto the arkenstone server thread and ask how things are on that server. I am sure there are alot of people passing time on the officials right now. I know that two of the most populated servers are brandywine, elendilmir. I play on elendilmir and run my kinship there.
Welcome back and you will love moria. I was in the beta for it and loved what they did with it.
i was also thinking of returning so this is a good time to return

Yes this is a good time to return. With the expansion out. wich i am updating right now. The mines offer alot of new aspects to the game with legendary weapons. a revamp of the traits and combat systems. along with the two new classes.
I played in the beta, but never felt that I had the time to actually play. Now I have more time and more content is being released, so I decided that now was a pretty decent time to return.
just got my Xpac today and am currently in Eregian -sp-. I could make my way down to Moria but have some quests where I am now to complete. Should I, or should I just got to Moria? Man, I haven't played in so long, I forget how. Anyone in a guild on Arkenstone looking for recruits?
