Well, looks like all you basement bred genuises have figured it out. EVERYONE that has any little thing bad to say about EQ2 are in truth WoW spies, here to undermine and annoy. No wait...um..we are all Blizzard employees that have come to engage in corperate sabotage. No, I got it, we are all representatives of the christian God here to spread to word of the evils of Everquest 2. So, please pick whichever disillusion suits you as best and let your paranoia run rampant.

    Um yes we are spies for Horizon too. Yes, yes we do have rings. Mine is silver with a little yellow fuzzy thing on it...that...uh...can read minds, yeah thats right.

Now tell me what game out there has more class/race combo out today. Yes you will be the same race / class as many others but they won't have the same gear or the same facial/body customization. One thing I love about EQ is that they had sooooooo many items. And finally, the fighting "dumbed" down... If it added anything to auto attack its better than ANY mmo out today. At least you get to throw in a few key combos every now and then. Once again reality check its still 2004. What do you want to swing your mouse around like a sword and have it do the same ingame?! I mean seriously how much more action can you possibly do with your keyboard. NOTHING! Push buttons! Tell me what can they do to make it more "smarted up?" Oh and the complaint about NPC con. WTF?! Why the hell would you want to fight a NPC without knowing the outcome. Ooo exciting!!! It's a 50/50!!! I might die! Yes soooo exciting! Defeats the whole purpose of fighting an NPC to gain exp. You die and you lose exp just to gain it back from 50/50. I wouldn't fight a mob unless I knew I was gonna win 95%. And then you would see Vineyard crying to the devs... Ooo its too hard. They kick my arse and raped me. If you want a 50/50 go fight a harder con mob to gain good exp. To sum it all up. It's EQ2 not EQ3+. You can't expect a quantum leap from the previous auto attack from EQ1 to action packed mouse swinging action in EQ2. Now if there is a more action packed game than EQ2 then GO PLAY IT! Otherwise if you play EQ2 you're agreeing with me that it is the BEST mmorpg out TODAY. Go play WoW and then come back to EQ2 to realize how your complaints of EQ2 are so minimal to WoW.

    That post by Namja made baby Jebus weep. Hell, I got a little misty after reading it, although that was probably just my eyes bleeding out, after the explosive brain hemmorhage I suffered after trying to read it.

    My son, who is not quite 2 and can't read, also began crying when I showed that to him. Also of note is that fact that he was able to write a more coherent rebuttal simply smacking the keyboard, and drooling in my lap.

    I havent seen Ministry since like the "In case you didnt feel like showing up" tour. The one where they had the huge fence in front of the stage that you could climb on. I did see Jorgenson with Revolting Cocks after that but that was still a long time ago. I didnt even know they were touring now. In the case of all the 80's bands coming back, my wife and I have tickets to go see The Pixies in November and saw Morrissey just recently and we saw Souxie Soux at the house of blues a while back.
