that's teh beauty of online games, they can consantly be updated therefore dont need to be (although are prefered to be) completely polished...
its funny though... people complain either way... people will complain because a game takes too long to come out, people will complain because a game isnt completely "polished" when its released... you cant win...

I agree with you. I have enough faith in Blizzard to clear up any problems that arise. Thats a big reason im going with WoW. SOE has a pretty shitty track record and that is one of the main reasons i dont think EQ2 will be all its hyped up to be.
I think that the release date of Nov. 15th is a good date and they are doing enough testing and updating that it'll be pretty polished and finished upon the release. So the sooner the better.
I really hope it comes out around that time. I've heard quite a few people say that the game is already more polished than many of the mmorpg's out there today. But I also here that Blizzard always wants to put out a great game so they take there time. I think they will have had enough time by Nov. 15 to get alot of the issues under control. At least I hope...
the way i see it atm is that right now its the 19th of october and blizzard hasnt even opened the open beta signup yet, so first they gotta get the signups, then get up some servers and then the common way of releasin a mmorpg is to have a 1 month OB..... so I really dont see any way blizzard can make it to the release date of 15 of november unless their OB is less than one month..... and i rather wait a lil bit more than for em rushin the game for release and releasin it unpolished ^_^
I think waiting for a game to be completely polished is always a better idea. Think about how long you will be playing the game as opposed to the time you'll have to wait for it before it comes out.
I would always wait the extra time needed to polish the game. In this particular case, it is very frustrating to wait because of the tremendous scope of WoW and it's long development.
I kinda wish Blizzard did the same as Icarus Studies did with Fallen Earth and kept the game quiet unti a few years after development.
what game gets released anyway without being finished *coughpetermolyneauxcough* I'll take it now and pay and get updates down the road. Blizzard though may not let that fly. I think it would take external pressure for that to happen.

yeah either way there going to be critics. I wish people would realize you cant really have it both ways.
I want my WoW fix, polished or not. I have faith that Blizzard will get it all sorted out after release.
