Is anyone a member of the vanguard forums, or has found out more than i can? because i want the following question answered and cant find it myself.
I want to know what kind of stats are gonna be in the game. I heard there are gonna be combat stats and crafting stats but are these gonna be scaled out of 100 (ie % chance to hit) or are they gonna be poor, average, good, or are you just gonna get sword attack, sword attack 2, swirly sword attack etc etc and never see any numbers?
Cos i really wanna see those numbers

Unknown at this time. sorry.
Unknown on the stats at this time, but I would expect there to be some of the standard stats (str, int, wis, agi.....), and a full set of resists (and no telling what else). And from what Brad says, there will be none of the uber sets of armor or equipment with all the stats you need. It won't be like EQ now where you can max out all your stats, it will be like old school EQ where you had different sets of gear for different encounters (including corps runs). I hope they have lots and lots of storage.
Only found two mentionings of character info.

Cut & Paste: "Your toon will have a mind blowing 25 loot slots!! I knew this game was item-centric but damn!! You will truly have a custom avatar, someone will be able to look at you and say Hey,that is Bob over there. You will not look like 50 other warriors at high level since your game play experience will vary from player to player. Now the idea of rubicite is a great idea, but will not control the game as it did in EQ. "

Cut & Paste: "I managed to finish the spider off and then had to rest to build up my mana (yes, warriors have mana; it's called stamina) so that I could fight again. With every move you make, you "cast" stamina and will need to renew it. After I clicked on the "Rest" key, my stamina replenished itself very quickly and I was able to tackle a few more mobs."

Cut & Paste: "Under, I believe the status screen, were your expected stats (I cant remember all of them). As well as the ability to change yourself from adventurer mode to crafter mode. Mathematically the game definitely had a very familiar feel. A sort of EQish, D&Dish, family feel. Where there were definitely differences, but not where you would find yourself learning a system entirely from the ground up. At least that was what the numbers suggested to me."
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
