I love how you are able to make things up, in order to support youre point.
Really, you need a life, why do you spend HOURS of your time posting on the forum of a game you clearly hate? It's like a vegitarian going to a fucking meat convention.

Those quotes was of course made by the beta testers. Been a week since beta release so just natural there been some feedback from them. It's very nice to read that the game seems to be all we wanted. Crafting seems very much like UO crafting and it was good fun.
No, according to the devs DF has been in beta for about 8 months. They simply added more testers last week. Kinda weird that this is the first feedback we're getting, don't you think?

They used professional testers before they let people in from outside the company. Thats the quotes were reading now.
You need to read up on the game.
You have no idea if these quotes are from recently added testers or the so-called "paid testers". So stop making assumptions.

The difference is, I didnt have to resort to dude speak, or say you are crying about something. Or say you need to get a life. I actually just pointed out what everyone already read, you are being a hypocrite.
Secondly Ive read tons of Polars posts, he, like the rest of us are allowed to express our opinion without people resorting to the type of things you are saying. Rarely do I see the guy stoop to your level.
You want to counter an argument, or come up with a rebuttal fine, go for it, thats what a debate is all about.
If you are just going to throw it out the door, and say "get a life" as an argument, well obviously you dont understand the concept of how to debate properly.
Seriously, I actually didnt go out of my way to insult you, I simply pointed out what you were doing. Theres no covering up the fact that you ignored the whole point of the thread simply to say "get a life."
Again, more proof that that certain fans really need to calm down a bit. The guy didnt even insult you, and you went off anyway. I dont know about you, but I dont go around insulting people directly simply because we dont agree. Ill leave that up to your camp.

Agree, that question is a good one. I very much doubt you get a satisfactory answer though cause to be honest there is no good answer.
I'm less disturbed by the apparent lack of beta leaks and the only beta review comments being filtered through the Developer than I am by supposed fans of this game not screaming at Aventurine to take their time, do an open beta and do it right even if it means missing the 2008 release date.
Internal beta-testing, even with 'professional' testers is NEVER sufficient. If it was there would be never be any need for patches in a MMORPG. 10,000 idiots acting like insane monkeys (in other words playing a MMORPG like the typical gamer) can find things wrong in that a bunch of 'professionals' never could.
But the Darkfall followers seem perfectly content to let Aventurine claim they don't need an extensive open beta. If I where a follower/fan of this game I'd be calling them on that and telling them do an open beta even if it means release delay.
I will say if Aventurine does manage to pull of a moderately bug-free, stable game without a large open-beta they will certainly have made MMORPG history. If they don't they'll simply join all the other games in MMORPG history that show not giving a game a decent amount of open beta testing (or just ignoring the beta testing even if you do it) doesn't work.
Well, either way we'll all see who was right, and who was an idiot, in a little more than a month, won't we?
Aye seems it will be alot like UO crafting which was really fun. They told in an old Dev Journal that crafting will not be like inventing the wheel all over again. Looking forward to craft for my guild ingame.
exactly. If you're giving a "fair and balanced" sampling of the opinions of Darkfall, posting both the good and teh bad reviews, then why do you need an NDA?

Calling this update proof of a beta is just flat-out lying. Noone can be that idiotic so I'll just call these fanbois passionate. Good luck gettin in beta
