Street Fighter 4 (Who's Getting it?)

Street Fighter 4 is coming out for PS3/X360/PC. As of most of yall are mainly PC gamers (I'm mainly a console gamer), I was wondering if any of you will be purchasing Street Fighter 4. To be honest, I remember making a topic long about about if PC gamers flock to fighting games (when it's usually a console/arcade type)and I've recieved some comments about their look on fighting games.

I'm sure PC and X360 players can go head to head. I was wondering if any PC gamers are looking forward to Street Fight 4 or is anybody getting it other than me?

    I am Riki. We're still deciding what to buy, a PS3 or just buy it on PC.

    Would be more fun on PS3, but a whole console for one game is quite expensive, on the other hand we did want a new DVD player....lol.

    the PS3 doesnt play dvds .........

    EDIT: correction .... it does play dvds, i was wrong.

    and no i'm not gonna get it, i was more of a Mortal Kombat fan then a street fighter.

    Yes the PS3 does play DVD's wtf you talking about. And plays Blu-Rays too. As for street fighter yes im getting it for the PS3 because the xbox controls will suck and microsoft sucks damn RROD.

    thats news to me, i thought it only played blu ray

    EDIT: looked it up and its correct it does play DVD/blu ray/CD. My bad, ignore my earlier post.

    hehe and the ps3 through HDMI upscales your DVDs to play at 1080p Resolutions too. But it still looks like a DVD IMHO.

    I'm considering making a cabinet for when this releases.  It's not that dificult and it looks like something fun to do.

    If nothing else I'll make my own arcade stick.

    No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

    I won't be buying it...I was never a huge fan of the original street fighter games, and this oen doesn't seem to be doing anything new other than providing us with some highly stylized (albeit sort of cool) graphics

     

    I think I may be done with fighting games from here on out...Mortal Kombat games are always fun for a few weeks and then they lose steam, and games like Soul Calibur have jsut too many unbalanced characters (Hi mitsurugi)

    Just a little correction, PC/Xbox360 gamers won't be able to go head to head.

    Xbox live is a very closed system that won't allow PC gamers to connect with few exceptions such as MMO's.

    I think SF4 is a bit to far ahead to worry about now, Keeping my eye on *holds breath* super street fighter 2 turbo HD remix.

    Nice to see some people getting it. I'm getting it for X360 too and I want to get an arcade stick for it. I always wanted to be a pro at fighting games like Street Fighter. I'm buying that HD one when it comes out too for Arcade. To the people who are buying it. What character are you looking forward to?

    street fighter's reputiation has been solid for years now, and not getting it would be a major sin!!! lol anyways, i've seen its graphics and its stunning.. far different from tekken and doa graphics.. i wish the old characters are still present, because im not familiar with the new ones and it would not be sf without the old chars right?
