Ok I am getting sick of Blizzard's contests. There is a flipping contest for everything. Here is a contest that I would like to see.....How fast can Blizzard go to open beta and then how fast can they go to retail? I don't care about seeing screen shots no more. Give me the game!

    There just building the suspense man. Theyre not gonna release open beta until november first i bet, that my guess anyways. That's what nevrax did with Saga Of Ryzom, it's like a little 15 day trial to work out some minor bugs that can be fixed in that time period(nevrax coulnd't finish the job). A little patience never hurt buddy.

         They do contests to pull more people into playing the game. They figure the more contests they have the more random people will be interested and want to play the game. I wanted to play the game before any contests started but yet some of the contests have interested some of my friends into the game and now they want to play.....so I guess it works.

    Ok seeing a screenshot and playing the game are two different things I have seen enough screenshots it is time for playing the game!

    I totally agree, I think that they should cut back on the number of contests and focus on the game, besides, they already have many, many people who are interested in playing the game.

    Someone up there said something about a 15 day OB starting on November 1st, I would quote it but I don't know how.  Anyway, that wouldn't really work if the game is supposed to sell on the 16th... They need time to actually fix the things we find in OB and they also have to actually make the game and get it to all of the stores, which is most likely going to take more than a few minutes which is what you are suggesting by that. But anyway, I agree, the contests suck and they should just work on the freakin game and finish it already! We are all DYING to play it and I'm pretty sure they have enough interesting in the game already.

    I was just assuming that the OB would start on the first, not stating it as fact(just wanted to clarify). With SoR they had the OB and it defintely was only there to attract people to the game because they only fixed a small amount of bugs after the OB. And just because there's an OB going on the same day or the day before release doesn't mean that they're not pressing CDs and boxing 'em up while were playing. The bugs that they find during this OB would be fixed with a patch, not implemented into the CD. Also, I LOVE CONTESTS. I LOVE WINNING! It's not like they're losing tons of focus on the game for these things. It probably took one person to suggest this idea(for the contests, not that its anything new), and the same person probably put it into action. Heh, but of course, i do reeeeeeeeealy want to play this game::::01:: and im about as impatient as you guys!!! SO BRING IT ON! ::::15::
