I will do what ever it takes to get the game when it finally launches thats how much my self and many others want a game of this type , for me it dont matter if its DF or Mo or something new that pops up in the future .

Personally I have used my credit card all over the world from the poorest countries to the richest, from stalls in the street to upmarket department stores and hotels and I have never had any problems, not once in the last 15 years. If I did I can just phone my bank and that's it, transaction voided. CC is the safest method of paying for anything.
2008 is only here for like 37 more days... Anyways, this doesn't prove anything, text is pretty much the easiest thing to fake in Photoshop. I could just as easily make that e-mail say "Darkfall will never release."
Sorry i wouldn't waste my time photoshopping a fake e-mail from GNi. If this was fake I would have showed something crazy like an e-mail straight from Tasos or something like that. If you don't believe this, you can e-mail GNi yourself and see what they tell you.

The GNi guy says within 60 days they expect the game to launch in the USA on their servers. That could mean open beta, full game, we don't know, but it does prove the fact that this game is very close to launch and it is no BS. This is coming from somebody other than Aventurine saying this.
Europe might get the game first by a couple weeks or a month, we don't knwo about that for sure either. They will try to get it out for both Europe and the USA at the same time, but they never promised that.

Yes i want to play this game or something very close to it ( like MO) very very badly , i think that's why some of us hold onto the "idea" of it so much. If it delivers what they have "said" it will i know i will love the game , its exactly the type game i have been waiting on for years now .
I currently play Eq2/Vg/WaR/WoW/Lotro/Aoc off and on with my wife ( she forces me i swear !! j/k), but i just cant seem to find the place for me in many years . I usually end up going back to a good ole Uo/Eq1 old school or 'classic" shard.
Thing is i don't really have a "current " game because there hasn't been good one like this in many years (a medieval/fantasy open world sandbox)
The games i listed are fun dont get me wrong and they do a good job to pass the time and keep my wife and i entertained to an extent ( more her than me) but it still feels like im settling for a hamburger cause i cant find a good steakhouse open .

And yes, if the game does release, and it is through a company outside of the US...Just use a credit card, not a debitcard. You can overdraw both types, but with a credit card you can VERY easily cancel the transaction(s), and/or the card. So yeah, go for Platinum Advantage!

I'm normally quite skeptical of information like this, but I think this time I'm going to buy it. I'll be happy to wait about 2 months to see if DF releases here in the states, and I won't have any problem giving them my credit card number to them to buy it. Yeah I guess it won't be all that hard, Its just Im lazy and rather not drive to a store or bank to get one of those and it adds more plastic in my wallet. lol So i just use my current debit card to pay for my games.
Yeah Ive played all those games you listed and more except for UO, but I got into MMORPG's when my friends were playing UO i just didn't have a good computer to play it. I played Runscape back then and then when I got a good computer I played EQ1 then my firends started playing FFXI and i switched.
While I do like PvP, im just not a fan of FFA PvP and full loot. Im more of a person that likes to find rare gear and be proud of what I have. But none of that grinding BG crap like in WoW. Im more of a NM drop kind of guy.

You are right I have no intention of playing this game and I never said I hated this game, I just said its not my cup of tea. I never came here to sir up arguments nor to get reactions, I just came to state my opinons on this game and the current events going on with the game and to hear others opinions as well. Well im guess im going to take my sad life and log into the game I enjoy because obviously opinions and skeptics are not welcome in this forum.
This is interesting, hopefully Tasos or Aventurine will officially respond to this, until then it might mean something or it might not.
He’s the VP, but he’s not speaking for Aventurine, he’s speaking only for GNi, so he might not know anymore then what they last told his company, things might be subject to change or he might not of been informed yet by Aventurine about any definite launch date yet.
In the first email response he used the words “plans are being made” and “in the next 60 days” that does not sound that definite to me, its quite vague and indicates to me that he does not have a specific date yet only a possibility.
In the second email he says “we will have a hosting centre up and running by Q1”, but he’s not explicitly stating Darkfall will definitely be using that hosting centre by Q1, I think he’s just saying it will be available by Q1.
Hopefully this does mean Darkfall is launching by the end of the year or in January but until Aventurine officially set a specific date we cant be sure.
A funny quote regarding DF on http://www.gni.com/, "Matching the Quality of the Game with the Right Infrastructure". So if the game's crap it'll be matched with crap infrastructure?

Ya its Np to drop 2-3 months of subs onto a debt card, i do it for every mmorpg i play usually if i don't use time cards.
Yes i want to play this game or something very close to it ( like MO) very very badly , i think that's why some of us hold onto the "idea" of it so much. If it delivers what they have "said" it will i know i will love the game , its exactly the type game i have been waiting on for years now .
I currently play Eq2/Vg/WaR/WoW/Lotro/Aoc off and on with my wife ( she forces me i swear !! j/k), but i just cant seem to find the place for me in many years . I usually end up going back to a good ole Uo/Eq1 old school or 'classic" shard.
Thing is i don't really have a "current " game because there hasn't been good one like this in many years (a medieval/fantasy open world sandbox)
The games i listed are fun dont get me wrong and they do a good job to pass the time and keep my wife and i entertained to an extent ( more her than me) but it still feels like im settling for a hamburger cause i cant find a good steakhouse open .
Yeah I guess it won't be all that hard, Its just Im lazy and rather not drive to a store or bank to get one of those and it adds more plastic in my wallet. lol So i just use my current debit card to pay for my games.
Yeah Ive played all those games you listed and more except for UO, but I got into MMORPG's when my friends were playing UO i just didn't have a good computer to play it. I played Runscape back then and then when I got a good computer I played EQ1 then my firends started playing FFXI and i switched.
While I do like PvP, im just not a fan of FFA PvP and full loot. Im more of a person that likes to find rare gear and be proud of what I have. But none of that grinding BG crap like in WoW. Im more of a NM drop kind of guy.

A troll is a person that posts in a forum of a game he has intention of playing (you admitted that) just to get reactions out of people and stir up arguments.

My Dog could have created a game like Darkfail in a 3D software in just a couple of months. i guess that Adventurine could release my dogs game in 60 days!

You are right I have no intention of playing this game and I never said I hated this game, I just said its not my cup of tea. I never came here to sir up arguments nor to get reactions, I just came to state my opinons on this game and the current events going on with the game and to hear others opinions as well. Stating your opinions and views is not trolling.
Well im guess im going to take my sad life and log into the game I enjoy because obviously opinions and skeptics are not welcome in this forum.
This is interesting, hopefully Tasos or Aventurine will officially respond to this, until then it might mean something or it might not.
He’s the VP, but he’s not speaking for Aventurine, he’s speaking only for GNi, so he might not know anymore then what they last told his company, things might be subject to change or he might not of been informed yet by Aventurine about any definite launch date yet.
In the first email response he used the words “plans are being made” and “in the next 60 days” that does not sound that definite to me, its quite vague and indicates to me that he does not have a specific date yet only a possibility.
In the second email he says “we will have a hosting centre up and running by Q1”, but he’s not explicitly stating Darkfall will definitely be using that hosting centre by Q1, I think he’s just saying it will be available by Q1.
Hopefully this does mean Darkfall is launching by the end of the year or in January but until Aventurine officially set a specific date we cant be sure.
