I use a Logitech USB Desktop Mic www.amazon.com/Logitech-980186-0403-USB-Desktop-Microphone/dp/B00009EHJV

It has great audio quality and i'm very satisfied with it, if you buy a desktop mic make sure it's noise canceling or uni-direcitonal or you might get a lot of random room noise being picked up on the mic.

At first i thought that you were looking for a performance mic. hahah! funny thing for me. anyway, logitech products are really good. you can find some in the net and you can even purchase them there.

    Thanks for the help

I looked in to the mic and it looks good but i could not find if it had the stuff i need.

I dont hardly lead raids so i would like the option of having a button or whatever to quickly and then off again and then also the option just to have it on without holding the button in

Does this have it or is this even an option on mic's i dont no honestly so any help would be greatful

    Thanks

Personally, I'm not a fan of Logitech when it comes to the audio side of things. They tend to sound tinny and are built lower quality. I've had around 5 Logitech headsets and they always develop connection problem when something gets loose in the microphone.

I've been using the predecessor to the Sennheiser PC151 (the PC150) for about 4 years now, and I'm on this computer around 14 hours per day every single day using voice chat, listening to music, playing games etc. With the sale on at Amazon.com right now, it's even more of a bargain.

The PC151 (and every other headest in their PC range) has a microphone mute switch, and inline volume controls. Using a headset may feel a little unusual at first, but you'll soon get used to it, and your voice will be infinitely more clear to others.
