RvR Finally Ramping Up

Well, it's taken a while for folks to level but with about 9% of my server at T4 there's pretty much constant fighting in the T4 RvR lakes (during US evening playtimes). I'd say if you're on one of the more populated servers, you're set. Even the less populated ones will eventually get there, it will just take longer. Hope you're having as much fun as the folks on my server.
I'm not talking about keep flipping, im talking about hide-and-seek WB vs WB or 2WB vs 2WB (beginning-to-be) tactical fights.

We're still waiting at Covenant of Flame, Order should be attacking this keep in the next few minutes with like 100 people. Our scouts say they're not at the batte objectives, so they're probably coming over the bridge. I wish they'd hurry up, we need to break their attack and then counter-attack them at Drakebreakers.
Man!I cant wait to finally become LvL 40! Tier 4 is the real RvR!!

Having been playing since release and having 6 lvl70s, (one of which is 75 now :P) I have to say this is by far the best content Blizzard has produced to date. Every zone feels hand crafted and the landscapes look fantastic. Putting aside the new graphics update, the actual design of the zones and the flow of the quests are very well done in that they split the huge player numbers inside the zones (which are massive).

LOL at you raving about McWoW graphics! More of the same cartoonland. I guess it might look cool if you're into DragonballZ, Pokemon and such.
9% of your server is tier 4 .... yet when people argue there's noone in Tier 1-2 they're "behind the levelling curve...

Nah. There's a reasonable distribution folks in T1, T2, T3. In fact, we're getting T4 players leading RvR groups in T1, T2 and T3 to try and gain zone control in order to cap T4 keeps.
Hope you're enjoying McWoW, though I have to say, I thought it was a better game when it was called LotRO.

I actually enjoy WoW for what it is and you could've just asked lol. I am now also back to EvE for my pvp fix as WAR simply didn't provide even the most basic requirements for a pvp game. If I wanted a shallow pvp game I would do BGs all day in WoW. But keep going on about WoW graphics, it makes you look all grown up.

Tell that to the people in the lower tiers who can't find anyone to play with. Or wait, I guess they are supposed to move (again, for the 3rd or 4th time in many cases) to one of those very few server people keep mentioning that are actually alive and well and lack any of the issues the other servers seem to have (if the people talking about them are to be believed ^^)
So are you implying these people are lying? There's plenty of people to play with in the lower tiers across the servers?
I'm sure I'd enjoy LOTRO if I had ever played it, but I haven't. Yes I enjoy "McWoW" when i play it as well ^^
You make it sound like WAR has decent PvP, which it doesn't.
Worst, blandest, most boring combat system ever, but keep telling yourself WAR is a great PvP game. I guess Paul Barnett's hype was more effective on some people than others.
Warhammer has amazing PVP. Being in chat channels with 200 people, 6 warbands each with their own leader, making a plan to takeover an entire zone - and then that amazing feeling of locking it, and unlocking the fortress for capture, the mad scramble and huge battles all along the way.
Warhammer PVP is amazing. The graphics being much better than WoW also help (turn off spell effects from "all" to "group only" - or else your computer will blow up with 200 v 200) it makes the fights and classes all the more epic.

There seem to be loads of people in the low level tiers. Server transfers are also live, so there's no excuse for staying on a low pop server. If you want to see really dead low-level zones, try making a new character in WoW. Hell, try making a DK - with all the instancing they're using in the DK starting area it's effectively a ghost town.
I don't understand the WoWbois coming over here to hate on a game they don't enjoy, shouldn't they be playing WoW? Oh, thats right, they are at work or something and can't play, so they are just slacking off and trolling internet forums.
As for ORVR, tons last night on Skullthrone, highest population server in North America. I suggest new players, or those looking for more ORVR, check it out.
Well, content-wise at end-game, yeah, WoW wins over WAR in PvE (well or at least it used to. From what I hear of WotLK the expansion end-game PvE is pretty much a joke) PvE leveling content is completely rubbish in WoW compared to WAR, though. It simply doesn't have what it takes to match it.
This isn't directed at you specifically Ixnatifual: Just because Ive seen many posts trying to compare 2 games that are not alike in play style....
NEWS flash WAR isn't a PVE game and they never claimed that they would be otherwise..So stop trying to compare it to WOW....WAR dominates the PVP aspect and WOW the PVE...2 totally seperate playing styles....WOW is a sad attempt @ pvp..you will never have the massive battles you see in WAR in WOW, just isn't going to happen....Until people understand the difference between the 2 games we will continue to see this sad attempt to compare the 2.

It's not instancing, it's phasing, everyone gets into that same zone so it's not instanced. And there were plenty of people around. I'll agree with you the lower levels right now are rather barren but they were fine before Wotlk came out, just need to give people time to max out again and get back to their alts
Also, not *every* server that had pop issues got a transfer (if the people on the VN are to be believed but take it up with them

I actual enjoy WAR pvp over WOW pvp. I just wish WAR combat was'nt so clunky or getting hung up on objects so easily.

Yeah tier 4 seems to be going really great. Makes you laugh at the rushers who leveled up and were alone in tier 4 complaining that there was no RvR, rofl
