Whooo feared 3 times in a row. Pvp consists of trying to break the 15 forms of bullshit that the enemy throws at you. At least aoc gave you immunity to bullshit that's already been cast at you. I don't know but pvp seems more fun when both the players aren't incapacitated for 75% of the fight. Hopefully darkfall isn't "stunlock" online.

L2Interrupt.
CC and ....anti CC.
If it's all too fast for you ---> don't play it.
Counterspells anyone ) You could use trinket also.
I am fed up with MMO's that aren't as fluid and controlled as WotLK. I play with real tanks, flamethrowers and artillery in a more fluid way than all other MMO avatars combined.
Have fun with the heroes of Clunky play. I play WotLK PvP. You know the new generation PvP in which you control more and fight the players instead of fighting the keyboard, lag and clunky animated characters.
What a bullshit statement by someone who obviously never played the game, do some more research on diminishing returns next time before trolling like a lunatic.
Yeah Darkfall and Duke Nukem Forever are gonna be the best games out there .
In 4 years of Warcraft i fought more than my fair share of server lag on Stonemaul and Illidan during PVP and PVE. I still see posts on the WOW forums about it from time to time, so it is still there I am sure.
As far as CC, good luck trying to interrupt everyone casting a CC in one of the battlegrounds. Even with my Warlock, once you were dot'd up and feared, you didn't stand much of a chance, fear rarely broke on damage and if I remember correctly it was an instant on a six second cool down (Haven't played in a while, minds a little rusty). Diminishing returns weren't much of a problem.
I am a little concerned about you and that one statement about playing with real tanks etc. If you are referring to ingame I think you are a little delusional. Real?? Take some time off and get a reality check.

Yep by real tanks I mean the tanks in real life. That was obvious. I ride them every day out of Wow right to my backyard. It gives me quite a joy to show them off to my neighbours.
Now make up you mind : or you do revisit WotLK and play before making more silly posts about words and have opinions in the current state of the game or stop posting of a game long gone.
I am not interested at all in how Wow played in early Beta. if you think you can gain credit for a Beta play some 4 years ago, good for you. Keep mentioning it in every post if you think that gives you ANY credibility for its current state.
I am playing it now - lag free.
Apparently the 2006 game is still in your head, no good sign at all. Reality check.

My trinket cd would have to be 0.5 seconds to negate all the cc thrown at em. Guess I just prefer pvp that focuses more on defense for preventing damage. WoW focuses mainly on preventing damage through offense, stuns/fears/root/snare. Where other games allow active blocking/dodging/manual use of shields, and by doding I mean dodging attacks that actually have to be aimed. The latter seems to make the combat feel much smoother and realistic. The cc-fest on the other hand feels like playing a turn based game with stuns.

You are right I have not played in a while, since this past June if you would like to know, but I still have friends that do and they still mention server lag, and as I said I still see it pop up on the Wow forums. I repeat, server lag has been an issue from the beginning until now so I am in the present. Is it all the time? No, but often enough to be an annoyance So reality check for me? I think not.
I don't make silly posts about words, you do, or I would not have brought attention to it. "Real Live" does not fit in a video game, really kills any credibility you have.
I have no personal issues with WOW, I enjoyed playing it while I did. I do have issues with posts that go over the top and act like WOW is problem free. It is a good, stable game, but not perfect.
I am sure the majority of people see your posts for what they are, something to read for amusement.
Have fun in your "lag" free game.
WHAT!!!
world of warcraft has pvp???? wow i never new
AWEG RJN

The current trend in PvP in MMOS seems to be root / stun / fear. I think any mechanic that removes control of your character long enough to be killed is pretty lame.
