There is a new European 3tp mmorpg coming out on December 6th, it has server server pvp plus a bunch of other type of game play. This game is an identical copy of WOW graphic wise but it`s free to download open beta on the 6th.
It`s been revamped into western style mmorpg..lol
It`s free..watch and listen to what the devs says in the 3 vids, sounds interesting at least.

I will download this just for the Server v Server warfare..lol if DF isn't out then it will entertain me for Christmas at least.

Looks like a mixture of WoW and AoC clone with shitty graphics. lol
Oh, it was this game that was a carboncopy of WoW, a bad one too mind you. Didn't look interesting the last time I checked it out and don't look interesting now. Got a cheap laff at the tauren though

Well, I don't see what is so funny. WoW clone? So? WoW still has a lot of people. If a F2P can poach some, good for them. Also, they offer 2-3 xpacs a year? Free? Or, you could wait 18 months to get an overpriced one that you end up running through in 2 weeks.
I used to play wow but quit. I didnt want to pay for a gear based brind fest and pay for xpacs that were not worth the money.
I don't htink this game will be great, but if it is even average, then it can pull a lot of peopl to it while they wait for something better. Hmmm, pay to press 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1 through the same instance 20 time so you can get rep for 1 item, of screw around in a simialr game for free.
Like I said...will it be amazing? No. Will it be adaquit (sp?)? Maybe.
I have to admit. Free games are coming up on the curve.. No longer are they all crappy Lineage clones (cough Tantra and Shaiya).. They are starting to look and feel like decent games now, this is no exception..
I will probably play it, until I am forced to buy a certain "booster" (xp) to progress...
This really isnt a WoW clone its way differnt, Maybe some of the action keys are the same but the game style and play is differnt. Their is Dual class system and Housing, which WoW does not have. And its F2P

So what if this game is a "WoW ripoff?" Bottom line is that it's free!
I started WoW from release, was in the best guild on the server, first to clear MC, BWL, AQ40, and Naxx, even had a Warlord from the old pvp system. Then what happens? Game gets dumbed down, everyone's running around in rank 14 gear, and the release of BC killed what I worked two years for.
All that came with a $450 bill from subscription and purchasing the game/xpac; for pressing buttons and ending up "starting fresh" with the release of xpac. Yah I would prefer a free MMO.
Why to compare to WoW?. Not all play it, and also i see WoW like shitty copy of Eq...
And afterall i guess 90% of MMO is same.... You go kill monsters/get quests to kill more monster, you get lvl, you get better gear, you repeat it countless times till you reach endgame and then go pvp.
Really WoW is same as most, but it took advantage of Warcraft tittle and good marketing. With their money they could have created something more Greater and Massive. But no... they created some shitty game and put it to market to steal money...
Also about graphics: wanna something good? Get outside, travel a bit.. You will see really nice graphic without any bugs... In my opinion games shouldnt be critized by their graphics (what if game have good graphics and nothing other to offer...)
I hate this crap. X copied Y. Well if you want to get technical ALL MMO's copied off MUD's(TEXT BASED GAMES). Everyone compaires to WoW because WoW has more subscriptions then amost EVERY other MMO combined. THIS IS why everyone compairs everything to WoW. Like it or not WoW is the most sucessful MMO ever.
I wouldn't compair myself to somebody in the special olympics. "I almost beat a special olymics record!!" woohoo.
If you can't figure out why, or understand that people are going to do this, over and over again; deal with it.
Well at least you approached my post with some kind of tact, minus the occassional condescending tone of course.
I didn't say that people here were bashing RoM due to the similarities of WoW now did I? The purpose of my post was to illustrate that, despite the similarities, RoM may seem a little bit more attractive to some players because it's free-to-play.
RoM will have expansions, and sure it will have "gear resets." That's fine and dandy as long as I don't have to pay for it. That was my point.
As for the "amazing upgrade" that each expansion brings, I returned to BC and replayed the entire game only to notice that at level 70, you do exactly what you did at level 60, grind raids/dungeons/quests/reputation for loot. Sure there are some fun new encounters and occasional pvp thrills, but after the 50th time doing the same thing over it does still get old.
Again, if RoM can offer the same level (or perhaps even a little less, that's fine too) of thrills as WoW for free then that's a huge plus.
Lastly, before you turn what I have to say into a "WoW hating post," I enjoyed WoW very much during the time; there are many great features of WoW that makes it what it is today. However, I'm not so blinded, like most WoW players are, not to see the downside of the game.
