1.06 is freaking amazing
But on top of that they fixed the combat stuff so gameplay is MUCH smoother, abilities and morales fire off seamlessly and the animation and game dynamics are smooth and precise like WoW's
On top of that BW's got nerfed (very much needed) and class balance is much, much better for all classes, lots of classes got much-needed buffs and fixes
And now, fortress sieges have no lag at all!!!!!!!!!!! Time to fight to capture cities once again!!!!!!!!
Arrrgh why do we have to wait 1 extra day in europe to get this patch, it's so irritating ARGGHGGHGH
GOA should patch it at 4AM instead of 8AM like I said in another thread, so we morning players don't have to wait

Yes sorry for spammy idiotic post above but I'm excited and I want to play but I can't because GOA suck at patching during the night time, so I'm just expressing myself in my usual idiotic way here on forums
It is always bad, when servers are down. But we can live with that, can't we. It's just good for us that they fix things and ad new stuff into the game. Just find something else to do meanwhile
BTW, how do you know that pach fixed these described issues, if it is not live yet in Europe? Gossips?
I know lots of european players who sadly didn't want to roll with me and others on european servers - purely because of GOA's horrible rep
They got the patch yesterday and have been playing around with it, their server had a massive fortress siege last night and there was no lag, so he was shouting at me on vent.
One guy who's on BC was complaining he couldn't get onto the server because of queues, which is weird as I thought server caps had been increased to 2x after the launch
But yeah, they were having an amazing time last night and we euro's can't because GOA is run by slackers
Sometimes I wish I joined them on US servers, but I guess 1 day isn't too long to wait, and GOA has been better so far than in DAOC days (but that's not saying much)
I think it's pretty normal for EU regions to get their patching done the next day. It's the same with WoW, for example. I believe under DAoC, it would take months for GOA to patch the servers.
yeah GOA was a pure horror story with DAOC, they really screwed the pooch on that game, and many feared they would do the same with Warhammer
They've done "ok" - not good, not great, but "ok" - so far. I guess their really really bad rep from DOAC has forced some of those GOA slackers to actually try a bit harder this time around.
I'd better stop, I'm really on a /hate GOA trip this morning because I'm waiting for servers to patch
Ok, I see. I, personally have no former experience with GOA, so I hope it will only get better with WAR
Actually GOA has improved a lot aftr the fiacasso with prelaunch website site not ready
If you notice they update there webpage quite frequentely.even if a server is down for any reason crash or update u fill find it in the news section .
They update online the clsoing and opening of server immediately
Also i submitted quite a few petitions in the game and all very answered soe within the game some by mails within 24 hours
With the fiasco they did during launch was very critical but now I would say they are doing a good job and do deserve credit
(P.s Not a GOA employee nor have any affiliation with any employees of GOA , The only connection i have is i was on vacation in GOA in India.)
