    I'll take them.

But seriously, don't get rid of them.  Odds are, you'll feel the itch later on, and even if you log on just to fool around, you'll be sorry you deleted them.

Simply don't play until you feel like it again. Deleting characters is a stupid idea.

My biggest mistake in Final Fantasy XI was deleting my level 65 Ninja... I deleted the game cause i got bored cause all my friends had left... 6 months later i got the itch... had too restart a new character and all my firends were back with there old characters cause they took a break and didnt quit... i was so mad... so i just quit for good... restarting was NOT FUN so i just had too quit... so i regret that everyday... so just log on like once a month too make sure everything is fine and log off... till you get the urge or your friends bug you too come back lol.

Long break is what you need.

Get Eve out of your head for a while and do other things. Just idle your accounts and dont worry about them until you get that itch again.

Deleting your characters is going to bite you in the ass later when you come back.... cause we all come back.

Go idle, go fishing, go play golf, go pleasure your neighbors hot wife, go do anything but eve for however long it takes to want to play again.

I'd never delete chars. Seriously, it's just wrong.

People know me, even out of game, for this name, avatar, and playstyle. I have a reputation, and deleteing a part of it..seems wrong. Even if i never visited eve again.

Just leave them. I left eve a year ago, and now I even don't care about my multi million chars on many accounts, billions of assets etc. But if someday you would like to come back you don’t have to start from beginning.

PS. The best thing I’ve done in this game is a 500mil isk transfer to a first person (which I didn’t know) who said ‘hi’ to me.

ya i guess just staying away will be better, thnx for the posts.... and i always helped the noobs out in any game i played

My advice would be to leave them, if you can afford the cash (which I suspect you can) i would train some of those long ass skills and log in every other week just to switch on another skill, do that until you can be arsed to play again, you have 65 mil SP so you must like the game you just need a break.

If you delete them you will be gutted later....also when you do get the bug to play again you will kick yourself for all the training time you missed.

Dont delete, dont play the game, dont miss training time.

Thats all win win if you ask me,  except for the cash you use to keep skills going ofc.

If you do delete your characters I'm more than happy to take some stuff off ya, Been playing for around 3 month and still a new kid really.

    Nathan.

EVE's not like other MMO's, the characters almost have a life of their own.  Don't delete them, even if you never return.

I just have to chime in and remind you that...

EVE is not like your standard run-of-the-mill online game. If you delete a character from say, EverQuest 2, you can always bite the bullet and reroll a character and press on. Except, that can be done in a couple weeks. Not to mention from a new and different starting area with different refreshing things to explore. Then on to end-game.

Now, with EVE.. well, I don't have to explain that really...
