blue quill names

what names did you give your mercs when you used the blue quill and where did you derive it?

as for me, i renamed them after all pretty things drawn and written about.. hearts, stars, swirls, etc.

    i named most of mine after certain anime and people i know in real life. Though 4 certain mercs I'll name them using the names i used in the past for other games, 1 down 3 more to go! gonna be a while before i get lady knight though -_-

    I haven't gotten any blue quills at the moment but I really want one (well, 5 to be exact)! I'm not really planning on using them to change the names of my mercs but rather as an ingredient for a book I'm interested on crafting.

    I didn't use the blue quill because I liked the hero names that you get when you upgrade. I have Gyebaek, Zhao Yun and Dharma, and could also uprgade my witch and BT, but I don't have the jewels.

    Just put it in the inventory of the mercenary you want to change the name. then click the magnifying glass beside the avatar of your mercenary. After clicking the magnifying glass, you will see the rename mercenary button, just click that and fill the name you want to name your merc

    hahaha havent changed the names of my characters but im planning to change it to celebrity names.. hahahaha or gay names, haha or names which will make them sound scary like bogart, brando, brigita, valeria, bimbo, what? bimbo doesnt sound scary hahaha its just funny hahahaha

    i just randomly named them. my two spearmen are B1 and B2. My swordie is Tarugoko. My Viking is Bikthor. My gunner is Ophelia. My monk is Apo Jutay. My shaman is Shamantha and my gunner is Ramborat. lol!

    I always use blue quill, it gives identitiy to my mercs...

    here are my merc names in my formation...

    -maui taylor

    -gwen garci

    -vandolph

    -piolo

    -borgy

    hehehe

    dubistblau u have funny names.. hahaha i like tarugoko!!! hahaha repapips, ur merc names are interesting hahaha i think they are filipino celebrities and bold stars hahaha you really like sex in atlantica!! ahahaha

    i bet you also tried using it by rightclicking on it. i also committed the same mistake when i first encountered the blue quill. what you really have to do is access the inventory and then click the magnifying glass next to the merc's headshot. you will see an option there.. 'rename'. that's how it goes.

                  Have to admit I used Names I had used for Chars in past games. (My Sword is Corazon)  I also chose names  for some because I thought they were fun. ( I love my Viking Laars,)

                  My favorites though is my Monk and Archer.  I used to play a Live Action Role Playing game called Shattered Isles. (A good number of the folks I played with in that game, are now helping to create Fallen Earth MMO.) One char I always liked a lot, was a crazy monk who liked to tell stories. I always refered to it as Story Time with Uncle Hu Chan. So that is how my monk got his silly name. My archer's name Tallulah, came from a girl who's char was ALWAYS finding trouble without looking for it. AH good times, good times...

    I only renamed 2 of my mercs.  My oracle I renamed Wife  and my swordman I renamed Link.

    One of my friends renamed all his mercs different FF names, like Tifa, Barret, Kefka etc

    those are funny names for your mercs (wife and link). i guess you should try to be more creative coz its really fun to look at your menu and see that your mercs have different names wgich are very much familiar to you.

    I have an idea.. ill make  a new character and name her snow white then my mercenaries named after the seven dwarfs and one prince charming
