Howdy, Stranger!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Please tell me Why

So I  usually play order and seems like we get our ass kicked a lot in battle grounds so I make a destruction guy and now it seems like order is kicking destruction ass.  So I delete my level 9 destruction and start a new order guy same server and Now destruction is kicking order again.

I am not in a guild.

Any reasons why  or do I just suck that bad??

Dark Craig is the sever I delete and start over again.

My advice, become a go-getter and stop depending on your faction to win the game for you.

You're cursed.  I'm glad you're not on my server. ;)

I actually usually find in the scenarios that Chaos reigns supreme. :)

Majority of the time, its not the server or population of each opposing side that determines who "wins all the time"

It's a matter of who your playing/fighting against, and how your playing. Are you working with your teammates properly, communicating with one another? Is everyone scattered doing their own thing? Theirs alot of things that determine who is going to win a battle, sadly most players only look at who has the bigger zerg.

Pvpers these days..yeah they're good solo fighters ill give them that, but that can't work in a team to save their life.

Congratulations, you have just seen the old 'Grass is Always Greener' saying in action.

If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?

A bit of a problem with scenarios is that you are thrown straight into battle with a group of strangers and you hardly get time to see what classes are on your side never mind organise tactics. Half the group run off to battle instantly before you even see them! It's all a bit of fun of course. I haven't seen T4 yet, so maybe it's much more organised!

Communication has to start before the Scenario starts.  Get everyone on the same game plan.  Even bad strategy beats no strategy.

And are you staying with the group or do you find yourself soloing all the time?  Team work will always beat talent.

PS When in doubt, turtle.  Turtling will almost all scenarios in this game.

    Waiting for the next thing

Destro used to seem to run with more tanks and healers.

Order ran with more casters and melee dps.

Time of day matters as well.  There seem to be some trends for Order or Destruction dominant times of day/night.

    Healers.

    Communication.

Leadership.  (and people that don't freak out when someone attempts to lead a team to a win.  some people just don't think they should EVER be told what to do or how to do something.)

    ...

I like the scenario's where someone takes the time to type out a strat.  They may not always win, but they tend to be more organized.

That's maybe because you join a scenario solo. Try it with a warband, you'll see the difference. You organize strategies for each scenario and not only have a better chance, but alot of fun doing it when you know there's plan.

    Definitely.

I don't know why people seem to expect to succeed as part of a PUG.  PUGs suck in all games, always have, always will.  You need an organized group to do well in these games.

Dark Crag is THE pvp server for WAR.

More activity there and more activity draws more of the competitive guilds.

You need to be in a gild or at least with a group of regular players that know their class.

T4 doesn't seem any better organized than T1 at least on Destruction Badlands.  A WB or at least a guild group gives you a shot.  Its a completely different experience when I know the people in my group have a clue.  I have noticed there are many pre-mades running on Order side.  You can tell instantly when the healers get focused fired on and you never see anyone standing back protecting them.   Destruction tanks and Mauraders ussually just run in and start beating on the closest IB or WL, which always makes you scratch your head.   You wonder if they ever get tired of beating on people who won't die because they're being spam healed.   Watching some players run naked into battle also makes you wonder why they didn't get the stupid Tome unlock when they were rank 6.

I guess people just want to hit other players.  They don't care if they win or lose.  Its frustrating that they don't understand that you get crap EXP and Reknown when you dont' kill anyone, but thats besides the point.
