I would like to know what kind of PvP loss there is in Darkfall.

everything you have on you. assuming someone takes the time to loot it all... I plan on hiding stuff in my inventory by burying it under crappy stuff.

It will force the mindset that is much like EVE, don't equip what you aren't willing to lose. eventually you will gather the funds to replace better gear as it is lost. hell you'll probbaly loot some off your enemies from time to time too.

Your only hope might be limitations in carry weight /bag space might prevent them from grabbing everything from everyone.

That will never work, why would you think that would work?

Stuff  stacks  in bag (at least the icons representing items)  and can hide other underlying stuff if you try to view inventory..and often your time is limited while looting (other try to kill you)

Imagine, you are in a battlezone and enemies are about. Do you browse through their items risking backstabbing or do you pick the cherries and move on ? Sometimes the valuable stuff are small things that can lye under a stack of armor and there is no time to find it.

I hope you can trap your bag as well, anyone heard anything about this recently?

I shall invest heavily in bag traps at all times when out and about if you can do this.

Chance? Whats mean chance? Ho you mean like 50% chance to drop each items?

Darkfall is not a game base on chance. You kill somone, you loot all he got. If you kill a goblin with a sword and shield for exemple, you kill him and you loot he's sword and shield and gold if he have some. Darkfall dont have critical hit.

The only chance in darkfall would be base on monster golds number and item that you cannot see on them because they are in their bag.

BTW, when you die and you respawn near the stone of rezurection, you restart with starting gears so dont worry. Darfkall dont have level, gear wont be overpowered so you will be able to kill with starting gears if you have enough skills and mindgame.

Well there is a 100% chance you will drop gear....its just the gear you have on you.

It always seemed carebearish and ridiculous that if you killed a mage or clothy that they would drop an extremely heavy piece of plate armor that a warrior would wear....like he has just been running around fighting with that in his pocket or something like in WAR.

Exactly. Drops and looting in Darkfall will be realistic for both PvE and PvP. How refreshing.
