 Seriously for what they're proposing to do with this game youll need a NASA super computer to run it. 200 people battles? 100% seamless world? 10,000 players per server? Heres my specs. Think it can handle it?

ASUS Notebook G50VT

Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz  2.27GHz

4.00GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce 9800M GS 512MB

    no

    my best guess is for medium settings

    single core cpu

    6800 geforce card

    512 for min ram  1 gig  for recommended

    and from what tasos is saying the game is very scalable  .What im understanding is we havent seen max settings either even tho SS cant show the true gfx of the game because the dynamic shadows dont move and vids cut quality

    You've already seen the max quality of this game in the 17 min video. Based on that a Pentium 3 should be able to run it.

    Well server side issues are the problem. Between the real time collisions between avatars and fps style aiming synch issues will be critical. I wouldn't worry about your rig handling it unless tere are a rediculous number of moiving objects on the screen or the graphics are turned up too high. I have the same laptop and it's a good one but even WoW will bog it if you turn everything on max.

     Catizone?  Estonia?  is that you?

    Anyways the high setting screenshots and even the ADW video show much better graphics than the medium setting that was in the 17min gameplay trailer.  Just a fact and not up for discussion as it has been proven already.  Darkfall's graphics, when put on higher settings, are much better than what the 17min gameplay movie showed.

    "The monsters are tough. I was looking for a challenge, but these things are just too damn smart." -DF Beta Tester

    "If people were dismissing it, then they wouldn't be talking about it. The well-meaning gamers root for efforts that try to raise the bar. So who's left? It's so easy being a skeptic." -Tasos

    If you can run morrowind then you will be able to play this game. The graphic is equal.

    morrowind = darkfall
