Look for new game
Okay, you may see my earlier post asking for sandbox games. This has been answered, although I see my choices are limited. So, I am broadening what I'm looking at. I want something in the vain of D&D. Something with a lot of skill choices, yet still having levels and gear numbers. Something to think about.
Just not D&D Online, I heard it's pretty much ONLY dungeons. If not, enlighten me.
I would like a high population as well.

If you haven't tried DDO you really should.
Yea, its mostly only dungeons but they aren't dungeons like WoW's. They are very in-depth, trap filled, strategic, very well designed. The raids in the game require very good puzzle solving skills as there are barely any if not no tank'n'spank raid bosses... Different members of the party will be in different areas doing a puzzle, keeping certain mobs occupied, any sort of things.
I'm currently subbed to, but I am too seeking another game because I've been there too long and need something else.
Runescape. Huge population, ungodly infact. tons of skills to choose from. Options of Pvp servers. F2p, or P2p for even more content
I'm getting the trial for DDO right now, I'll probably give it a one month shot.
As for your other game, give LOTRO a shot, you might like it, I don't know what you like though :P
