I think it was an overall bad move for Cryptic. They dropped NCSoft as a publisher, and picked up a subsidary as a publisher. They went from a company that earns 350 million per year to one that earns 60 million per year. One that spends the most money on any game to one that spends a moderate amount.
I don't think they would have made this move if Atari wasn't offering them a better deal so I don't see this as being bad. If these are the guys who made City of Heroes then they know what they're doing and their upcoming games should atleast do quite well specially if they have "from the makers of CoH" and then alot of people will try out their games.
