What professions will you be?

in Guild Wars

Since you get a choice of two when you start, what two will you be?

Elementalist
Mesmer
Monk
Necromancer
Ranger
Warrior

When I played the E3 "alpha" I started a character that was an elementalist/necro.

I think I might change that to elementalist/monk

I love the powerful skills you get for being an elementalist... and monk gets healing... so that's pretty much a mage/priest... which are my two favorite classes.

    Nec/War is without a doubt my favorite combination. I love being one in PvP draining away people's HP, lowering their armor, casting a few dark damage spells and still be able to do fairly well melee wise.

    The other combo that I found that I like is Elem/War for PvE maps. That way you can deal a ton of damage from far away (fire and lightning spells, maybe some water or earth to slow or debuff them) yet still be able to do quite a bit of damage up close.

    One of my favorite PvP things where to cast elemental intune [whatever that spell that gives you +4 mana if you cast any of the 4 elements for spells]... I'd cast that...  then from a far I would shoot fireballs one after another since my mana would go faster then I could waste it...

    If someone got to close... I would knock them down... run up to them and use thremor... it does 40 damage and +10 if they are knocked down...  then I would run... cast some more fire... dead.

    It was deadly... seriously...  I was nasty in PvP... people would see me and be like "Oh shit... and run"

    It was great... I liked GW... good game.

    I loved that combo at E3! I was unkillable :)

    ya im did the E3 for everyone and i did a warrior/monk but since they added the the ranger taming skill i will be a ranger/monk.

    I'm going with either Warrior/Monk or Warrior/Mesmer.  Probably go more with this Mesmer for 2nd because that combo will end up having some strange tactics I think.

    Ranger/ Monk

    Played Ranger/monk in E3 thingy. 

     I was impressed that I was able to spec my character to heal just as good as a monk / something that is what i love about DnD and this game is the closest i could get to that multiclassing feeling.

    I played Ranger/Warrior on the E3 demo and I loved my character hehe, Rangers rule. =P

    On the WPE im gonna make an Elementalist/Ranger I think. xD They seem to be cool heh.

    I am wery new to this game. And i resently got invited to the stress test next weekend. I know that you can chosse two classes, but what do the classes do?

    Warrior=A good old fashion killer.

    Mesmer=????

    Ranger= Ranged weapons/skills/ magic

    Necromancer= Dark magic mage????

    Elementalist= Mage??

    Monk= Healer or?


    So please help me out.
