As long as the PvP is non instanced, meaning if I'm human and dial a jaffa planet I don't go through to an instanced battleground or something and fight 4 other guys then we go home when it's over. If I can dial up an enemy planet, go through with some mates, kill, maim and torture in thier non-instanced home world. Then either get the swag and dial home or get ripped to pieces and sent back in bags.
If there's PvP and instancing in the same place it doesn't work, not for an MMO. I might as well play BF 2142 instead if this is the case!

I could be wrong, but it sounds like there is going to be instanced pvp.
Here is a link where it says pvp will be similar to battlegrounds, but you can also do battle elsewhere: PvP in Stargate Worlds

Maybe even more than PotBS - perhaps even as much as The Agency?

It seems from those articles that SGW will have every type of PvP, how the hell they'll make this work I don't know. However I'll probably try it out and/or Jumpgate eveloution as I'm sick to the back teeth of fantasy pve grinds that clone one another. I'll give SGW a fair try since it has factions and you can fight for planets and resources, if it doesn't workout I'll just go cry in a corner as usual!
