Assuming the game doesn't suck ass because they put in micro transactions, which means it's not worth playing, will you go light side or dark side?
Apparently all the quests have a light side or dark side component, you you decide which way to go like KOTOR:

I just hope this isnt going to be a glorified Single player game, thats all.
Bioware makes good games but they are all very similar in a lot of aspects.
There are no sides.
There are only fools who dabble in contrasts through which they hope to identify themselves.
They will fail by my blaster.
brought to you by ->rp.server.that.way<- productions
Yes. They are very similar. They are all great. One of the few great gam studios.
I think they will make this game EPIC, i just hope it falls in line a one of, if not the best MMO's out there no matter if your a SW fan or not.
no side, this game is going to be a mess...
i would like to see it turn out to be great, but doubts are about
Why so negative right out of the gate? Bioware is a respected company, and they put out some of the best games. Give them a chance before you go all negative nancy on them
Going for light side but we we'll see where my choices take me once im in game.

i think most ppl are giving them a chance and wanting for them to be succesful but for me personally, i have my doubts. i really dont want the game to be insanely populated with force users even though it will be. and i dont want it to be a single player game with a chat box. i hope it turns out alright tho
I honestly can't answer. Even the go down the middle doesn't really "feel right" at the moment.
I always like the "concept" of playing off each side to maximize my personal benefit. This is probably why I liked the idea of being a smuggler. Then again I guess that's what I did back in privateer 1 as well.
Down the middle is the is close to my answer but not exactly it.
If I really have to be one or the other I would probably be "light". I always identified more with the rebellion than the empire when I watched the movies starting in 1977.
lol I dunno aka doh.
So you were born in 1990...
Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.
Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside
Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.
Too early to tell. Heck, might play a droid or a merchant.
Merchant? Hmm, well, since that isn't a "heroic" or "iconic" combat oriented profession that is at the heart of the Star Wars universe I don't see it making it as a class.
Course, I guess you could mean farming loot drops with your combat oriented class and selling the items in the auction hall, and doing that heavily. I guess that could be seen as being a merchant.
"Many nights, my friend... Many nights I've put a blade to your throat while you were sleeping. Glad I never killed you, Steve. You're alright..."

Please don't try to drag me into such childishness with both your age detector and your sarcasm detector broken. It seems the endless bickering of the forumland has gotten to you; or worse yet, you to it.
Well, I'm happy to see that there are more on the light side, seeing how I'm dark. I've always liked being part of the underdog evil groups.

I'd probably go Dark Side because I'm like that. Though I'm not sure in an MMO. We shall see.
I'm more excited about this game than I have been about any game in a long time!
Light Side .........
I'm a goodboy
I expect the odds in this game to be heavily in the favor of Sith...most people are going to think, "Why would I play a jedi, forced to obey all these rules, etc. when I could be a Sith and get awesome Force lightning!"
I think I'll aim for neutrality; hopefully there'll be a roleplay server.
I am a notorious do-gooder, so light side.

Dark side, myself. I just love the concept of the dark side over the light side, and I love how both sides of the arguement are proven invalid; holding in your emotions with the force (ala light side) only leads to destruction, while using your emotions with the force (ala dark side) leads to the same outcome. One of my favorite viewpoints from KOTORII was Kreia's viewpoint, and that being that the force in general was just a force of evil, which makes perfect sense when you think about the entire story as a whole. Something that no other piece from the SWs franchise ever really discussed this, and I hope this game gives a good amount of philosophy to light side / dark side like they did with KOTOR I and II. I'm also hoping greatly that our choices within the game do actually effect us someway or another, not like AoC where you can click whatever the hell you like and get the same story.
If only SW:TOR could be this epic...
I plan on having both sides really, But my main character will be on the Light side.
Figure they will have seperate powers for each side.
I'm going light side on my first play, but I will also play a dark side character.
This game will have different stories to every class, so the replay value seems well above average
Dark or light? I thought this was supposed to be the 32 class, 18 profession game everyone was waiting for since the NGE??
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!
Light.. Dark.. I'm the guy with the sneak attack.
I don' t know. Since it is Bioware I will just go for it and see where I end up
