I can't believe it. My so-called (their not cuz i hate them) friends are playing the illegal download of Halo 2 on Dom's mod chip X-box. I'm so mad right now that this may not come out right when I type it. Let me show you this little conversation and excuse some of the language:

Dom: Dude, Halo 2 is so cool! I download the game and played it. Me and the gang are going over my house to play, want to come?
Me: No . . . why can't you what for the d*mn game! It's coming out in what . . 3 . 4 more weeks? Theirs other games to play you know . . .

I don't get it . . . . if your going to buy the game when it comes out anyway . . .why download an illigeal version it + when it's comming out in 2 to 4 more weeks? I think it's stupid. The thing I don't get is why these fools (my so-called friends that I hate) have no sense in video games.
Let me tell you. . . it's like they only play commercialized games.
I ask them if they ever played Dynasty Warriors 3 and their like "WTF is that?".
I ask them if they ever played TES III: Morrowind and their like "WTF is that?"
I ask them if they ever played Seek and Destroy and their like "WTF is that?" (you got to play this game, it's like armored core with tanks)
I ask them if they ever played Onimusha and their like "WTF is that?"
When the X-Box came out they said it sucked cuz all the games sucked and im like "wtf dumb a**, IT JUST CAME OUT, GIVE IT TIME!! AND YOU ONLY PLAYED 2 OF THE GAMES SO SHUT UP".
It's like they have ignorance for every game they never herd of, never seen on tv, or never herd OR talked about (AND I KNOW MANY/SOME OF YOU ARE LIKE THAT).
Me, I would play a video game regardless of graphics, were I herd of it, etc. just to see if i liked it. I still buy old school video games (which they think are a joke now). I played and owned Halo wayyyy before they did just because me and my dad like 1st preson shooters so we tried it then brought it. They waited till it was advertised, etc. because like I said, they though it sucked. . . .
I don't see how that illegal version attracted one of my best friends to play with them. . . . I think its pitiful . . .
I say Dom downloaded it because they can't wait 3 weeks because they have no variety in video games . . . Thats why i think it's so pitiful . . .
What do you guys think?

Dont worry Rikimaru, all the people on this forum are the same archeatypal character in our group of friends as you are. They know shit, we know THE shit, meh, its just the way it goes.
Pff.. I'm not buying the system. I hate Xbox, the only reason they get people to buy their system is because of the Halo sucess. "OMG!!11 Halo is on the Xbox let's dish out 300 buckzors so Microsoft can be that much more rich than us."
And i'm not one of those "cheapskates" who downloads everything. I own PC, PS2, Dreamcast, and Gamecube. I just don't plain like Xbox.
Xbox MUST have had at least one other success.... Oh right, Fable. That hyped up game I ended up beating on the weekend over at my friends house.

Agreed, people love the xbox. I Have had each of the 'next gen' consoles. I won my xbox in a games competition, i owned everyone at midtown madness and took home an xbox. I completed halo and Sw:KotOR and sold it on ebay. I got the ps2 for xmas, pretty average really. The GC was the only one i actaully bought myself becuase i was somewhat of a ninty fan boi back then. Bu i sold my ps2 and gc in favour of a new 17"tft, a set of logitech Z5300s and an audigy 2 zs

Stop being a putz, and go play with your friends. They wanted to play the game 3 weeks ahead of time, so let them have fun. God knows they arent thinking about YOU while they play Halo 2. And they KNOW you want to play. Also, i can give you thousands of classic games you probably have never heard of, and i would think your stupid for not knowing them.
For one, nemo for the turbo graphics 16. Another would be Festers Quest for the nintendo.

If your going to write something, Write it right. I dont care if your mother slipped chocolate flavored laxatives into your drink, if you dont have anything nice to the eyes to write, then write nothing at all.

Last, but not least.
X-Box is microshit's way of trying to make some more money. However, they dont have as much experience as lets say, sony, or SEGA. Therefore, they dont know the first thing about making what people want on a console. Hell, even SEGA who stopped making consoles and only makes games now didnt want to make games for them. Why? Because they didnt want to stoop as low as to making games for THAT console. That.. Thing. Id much rather play guilty gear x on DC than anything at ALL on x-box.

Now that I think about it, I have no idea what benifit/insight this thread had at all. Rikamuru's friends (but not friends?) were playing Halo 2 and he was mad, so he posted on mmorpg.com.

I dont like Xbox , infact i hate it lol. The only reason i have one is cause i got mine brand new for only 50$ i only use it for multiplayer with my friends and then i got counterstrike for it which made me really happy except the only multiplayer there is for it is online , so i cant play with my friends at home which is complete bullshit. Ps2s my favorite , gamecubes ok and xbox is a sloppy peice of shit
lol. I got all 3 and i use my ps2 the most then gamecube and then the xbox sits there collecting dust until i play halo or somethin on it with my friends. Also i dont think you should be proud that its american made , 80% of american games are such shit.
GrandMoren: There are a lot of Sega games out for the X-box...they divied up their software to all 3 companies. Now, not all of the Sega X-Box games are good but not all Sega games are good anyway. Now...for those of you who hate the X-Box just because it is a Microsoft product I could really care less what you think but here are some facts you might want to consider:
1. It is the most powerful console on the market.
2. It has just as many good titles as the PS2 or Gamecube
3. It has a built in network device and a very good online system
4. It is the best online console ever with a multitude of good games for the online side of it.
5. Halo is not the biggest selling X-Box title in the world and thus is not the biggest reason people buy XBox's.
6. Fable broke most everyone's sale records of any console including EBGames and Gamestop.
Why you hate it so much only you can tell.
As for the people who d/led the game before it came out...well I can see why they would...some people really love the game. However, they are just going to buy it when it comes out so in this case I prob would have bought the game when it came out. I also didn't know you could play it on the PC, it is an XBox game and would require a modded XBox unless it comes with an XBox emulator?

Hey nooblet, that isn't true. America has been the home of some of the greatest games ever made. Most of them are very old and the latest ones are lacking but I wouldn't say 80% of them suck. lol
