trial, buddy keys or something?

Hi guys,
I'm thinking to give WAR a chance, so my question:
Are there any trials or buddy keys to test the game out? Or do I have to buy it blind.

Somehow there are neither buddy keys noir free trials. Could be that they don't like that kind of thing because this game has had huge problems with gold-spammers. But I still think it could be worth it.

Don't buy it. You shouldn't have to buy something - that can't be returned - just to try it. Save your money and wait until a free trial is released. And they will release a trial, it's only a matter of time.
Not to say you are wrong, but you are wrong....very much so....but possibly due to being just unaware or getting info solely from this silly forum.
(1) They did/do have a "free trial". It was very limited and more of a small promo thing. You had to go to some specific store....I think in Chicago or something....for an event. Other than that, they also had "Preview Weekend" which was right before launch. As for an extended, "try it free anytime" kind of thing, I don't see that happeneing.
(2) To quote you again "because this game has had huge problems with gold-spammers"......This is completely WRONG. They have never had a "huge" problem. In fact, they have been fantastic in countering the spammers....just check out the "Banhammer" count. Gold matters very little in the game at the moment, but even so, there are many ways to punt spammers quickly. I rarely if ever get a gold spam and if I do, it is in the mail....you never see it in chat at all.
Anyways...sorry, if you are wanting to "just check it out", but there is nothing like this right now. As others have said, just fork over the few bucks and give it a whirl. You might be out about the equivalent of a dinnner out with friends on a friday night at the most.
