When i first logged in the graphics were horrible, but i knew i probably had to change the resolution and make everyhting max. Once I did that the game looked awsome, just like wow if not better. The controls are just like WoW and interface. I will say the quest are a bit grindy but not like normal asian mmo's. The gave feels like it has substance, it's like the first free mmo that finally has what every other free mmo is missing. Very easy to start out, community on my server is super freindly and helpful. I recommend anyone in-between games or just a first time mmo player to try this game out, definatley one of the best free mmo's i have ever played. *whipering voice* Maybe even better then some p2p mmos too.
All in all, this a great mmo to keep you busy for sometime till darkfall or the other mmo's we all are waiting for come out. Who know's maybe this game can beat WoW since its pretty much a clone

This game is what I describe as WoW lite. It's got all the basics but with a few additional goodies. The housing is like eq2's housing system and the dual class system is a nice feature. The only things that miss the mark in my opinon are:
- skills: Alot of them are great in primary classes. But when using the secondary class skills, some of them seem more over-powered or more useful than others. Take for instance dual-weild, a skill any class can get with a rogue leveled to 16 as your secondary.
- crafting: Sounds great, but almost seems a bit complicated. I reall wouldn't say complicated as to more un-usefulness. It's like the WoW system, build a bunch of useless crap to get to the good. But it seems as though they have added some un-neccesary steps in between.
- scale: The size of the game is rather small. I know a few more zones are planned to be opened but thats not what im getting at. What im talking about is this. P2P games usually have multiple zones per level range so that you have not only a change of scenery, but more things to do, more quests to engage in, etc, etc. But this game seems to have one zone per level range. Meaning there are atm, 4 zones available. The things thats good is they are not instanced. The bad thing is that they seem boxy. No valleys, no mountains in-between, pretty much just alot of trees, small hills and plains. This isnt something that important to me, but I know this directly reflects budget when creating f2p games which I think is the major downfall of them.
Other than those things, the game is a fine f2p. The cash shop actually seems to be rather attractive and the game doesn't feel like the ordinary f2p. The dungeons feel like WoW dungeons and the pvp I have yet to try. All in all, this game is a nice filler game. Nothing is going to scream "OMG, greatness!!!!", but than again, its not a Rappelz or Choas Online or other oddnamed f2p game. By the way, this game was originally named RA or Radiant Arcana(might be a slight mispel).
Is it better then Guild Wars?
Also how many spells can you have at any given time?
Explain the Large scale PvP when you get the chance please.
The soundtrack is horrid. In all other departments this game excels beyond all other F2P's that I have experienced. That being said, they need to do an overhaul on the sound before their official release. The BGM loops are way off and too short, there is no NPC interaction, i have yet to notice any LCR paning, and there are no mount noises; to name a few.
Also, by the fact that the Cash Shop is open this game should be considered the live official release. If you are paying money during Open Beta I weep for you.
NO, it is not better than Guildwars. It is pretty nice though and free so it is worth trying out for yourself.
Content-wise it is both good and bad. it could be more zones but there is already a lot of quests and Frogster said that they have over 3000 to chose from and are implementing more all the time.
It is not the regular Korean grind game. On the other hand it is not a perfect MMO that have anything you want in it, but it is kinda fun to play.
It also beats Atlantica on all points 'cept maybe sounds.
It is good that someone actually raises the rib for F2P games, it have been very low before.
Is it like Runescape?
Well they aren't wiping the servers after this Open Beta, so you can basically start playing "live" now.

true... the wording still rubs me the wrong way though.
umm... I would say no.
Would love to play if I could figure out why the dern game won't display properly! This is what I see at the character creation screen! Just a floating set of shoulders near the bottom of the screen, and yeah my PC can run LOTRO at max in DX10 mode so its not lack of power. ah well!
Wow, I feel bad for making this post. Did everyone else play in CB? I didn't like it one bit. The graphics were fine, but it just felt flat. I thought the user interface was clunky, and poorly designed. Too many different windows with too many tabs, and too much information in each. The game runs smooth, and feels polished, but the combat is boring and not fun.
Don't feel bad about your opinion I feel the same.
I said that it was better than any other F2P game I have experienced. But, that's not saying much The game feels very dry. But as far as F2P grinds go, it's not half bad. I probably still won't play very much though. Being a professional in the sound industry it's hard for me to get past where it is lacking most.
I hope SW: Old Republic or TCoS can wow me...
The soundtrack is horrid? Are you on crack? The soundtack is excellent! It was done by the same guys that did the music to 300, and it is awesome, furthermore the guys who did the ambeant sounds from AC one worked on this project as well and you can tell..walk into a town you here people chattering animals weather noises...dude you need a new sound card..and quite possibly the purchase of a hearign aid.
I wouldn't call it horrid and they have fixed the sounds from the CB, we don't have the really horrible swosh sound when anyone cast a spell anymore. On the other hand I wouldn't call it good either, Spellborn and Conan have good sounds (Within temptation workked on TCoS, some Norweigan composer on AoC).
And 300 didn't have that great soundtrack either, ok but not great.
And yes, off course not everuone love the game, as I said before it is good but not great, it is however the only good F2P game I tested and I tried a lot of those.
I woud disagree, Rappelz game mechanics are a lot more fun than RoM. It suffers horribly from a terrible Publisher ( Cash Shop ), a desperate need of server and client optimization to reduce lag in towns and during events, and poor drop rates at higher levels.
I like it so far.
The combat needs improvment to make it more fun.
And the actions feel a bit unresposive, but once that gets fixed up, this could be great.
also iam looking forward to how the PvP will be added. So far I have only dueled somebody. I also hope the End game has at least, 1 big Raid dungon.
But the RPg in this game rocks. Lots of skills to upgrade.
This game is pretty good...the best f2p game i ever played lol but not that great.
d
i'll re-rate this game as 8.5/10
The youtube video about the gameguide of RoM had PURE realistic graphics?
-I hope RoM fixes all the problems players had requested!
