I've been looking for a game for a while now, and finaly, I've decided to post here looking for help.
*F2P- My money is used in things far more important than gaming.
*Nice graphics- Not "Great", nor "Awful", something like Perfect World or DOMO, I don't mind the style, but I don't like playing a cube fighting other cubes. 3D better.
*Customizable- In every way possible, the more the better, clothes, skills, apparece, spells, classes.
*No point & click- I'm getting sick of it, every game is the same, and they all bore me to death when killing hi lv mobs.
*Freedom- I don't want to be forced to go from A to B, just because I'm lv30 now and all mobs here are puny. This criteria also involves the equipment, I want my cleric to use a sword, even if I suck at it, but I don't want to be forced to wield a damm staff or wand for the rest of my life. I don't want to look exactly the same as all the other lvX from my class either.
*No room system- By this I mean that I hate the system they use on those games like Gunbound or Gunz.
*No cash shop- It really bugs me to find out that a casual gamer like myself can't do anything 'cuz I'm not lv50 or I don't waste my money in 30-day ultra powerfull items that break balance.
Now, I know that the last criteria is almost immposible in a F2P game, so it's the "least mandatory" of them all, followed by the Point & click, as it seems all games are like that, but if you find what I couldn't, I'd really appreciate it. I also have realized that this search is quiet difficult, as I'm excluding about 90%+ of the games out in the net.
Thanks beforehand.
*BTW, I've tryed most of the famous games(Atlantica, WoW, etc...) and they all sucked if you ask me, so try not to post those.

I only know of one game that comes somewhat close, but I only know a little about it. It's called Eternal Lands and even though the screenshots here on mmorpg.com have yet to be updated the game is actually 3D now. It is free to play for three of the races, but you have to pay for the other three. I don't know how the customization is or what the movement controls are, but I do know it allows the type of freedom you're looking for with skills and such. A good review of it can be found here: Ten reasons you HAVE to play EL!
You have definitely limited your game choices with the criteria you mentioned. As for a game that has great character customization you found it when you mentioned Perfect World International. There are no other free games I know of that offer that much.

Well, thanks, Spinach8puff!
That game looks to fit most of the criteria, thou the graphics are not the best around, I'll give it a try anyway. However, that doesn't means that my search is over, please keep posting if anyone finds anything and thanks again.

Why choose RoM?
Well...
1. Free2play: no monthly fees, free to download
2. Regular updates with new content, e.g. classes, races, game modes and much more
3. Extensive dual class system with six primary classes and a selectable secondary class.
4. Versatile spell and attack combinations
5. Over 600 quests and comprehensive quest series with continuous storyline
6. Integrated into an enthralling background story
7. Already over 600 quests and level comprehensive quest series on launch
8. Freely accessible game world in atmospheric 3D
9. Instanced and persistent dungeons
10. Individually developed skills and spells
11. Armor sets with special bonuses
12. Dynamic item system: Upgrades with hundreds of runes
13. Activatable PvP system (Player vs. Player duels) with arena battles and guild wars
14. Server vs. server PvP
15. Ranking system: ranking lists
16. Mounts: various unique mounts
17. Epic crafting system with the chance to improve existing items
18. Housing from the beginning: personalization of houses through
individual furnishing
19. Guild houses in special zones
20. Reputation system
21. Scalable user interface based on the users preference (development of ones own add-ons possible)
22. In-game map and radar system to find dealers, resources and quests easily
23. Auction house: auction off and purchase in-Game items
24. Teleporting possibilities per runes
25. Controlling with mouse (point & click) and/or keyboard (WASD or arrow keys) is possible
I'm currently playing RoM and I don't agree that this would best fit the OP. The customization is better than most F2P games, but it's not anything amazing. The type of freedom he is looking is not found in this game either. You are set to certain types of armor, weapons, and skills depending on class. There is a cash shop and the permanent mount is mandatory on getting around as the "long term" mounts in game are only two hours. The skill reset for players over level 15 is pretty expensive also.

Spinach8puff is right on that, I'm actually trying, parallel to this forum search, and I must say it isn't what I'm looking for. As it's almost WoW in every aspect: classes, mounts, crafting system, movement, enviroment interaction, etc...
Tryed Ryzom, Anarchy Online? Both old games, but i think suits best for your criteria.
P.S. AO might be hard to get started, many stats/gear/places/classes.
"Don't argue with dick-heads, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience"
I dunno if Ryzom of Anarchy Online meet most my criteria, but they don't meet the most impostant one: F2P.
Thanks anyway!
Just to let you know, Eternal Lands is point and click but I do agree it's one of the only good free, sandboxy games out there.
You could also try Runescape, Wurm Online, or Darkfall when it comes out in a month.
well you guys have a lot of suggestion for good games,
hmm currently im looking for game that has a cool battle system, good graphics and a very quest based game.
if you can help me you can suggest more but suggest 3 game only so i cna download all and try it all.
Ryzom still f2p will they open cash shop or make it p2p is still unknown. Anarchy Online is f2p, it becomes p2p when you upgrade account to one of expantions.

Really? I cheked here, at this page and the info said that both were P2P, Anarchy at 14.99 monthly plus 9.95 to buy and ryzom at 14.99 aswell.
I guess I'll try them both if they are really F2P.
AO is F2P, at least if you play without the expansions.
But really I am afraid that you'r game don't exist. Free games without a cash shop is almost impossible to run, you would have to have in game commercials or something to get in the cash. The best there are some like ROM who just sells stuff you can get into the game.
And all the freedom, few P2P games even have that...
Well, good luck with your search, but I don't think the game you are looking for exist.

The pricing info on the gamelist here isn't kept up-to-date at all. It says EQ is $12.95 a month when it has been $14.99 for a long time.
Ryzom and AO were both f2p last time I tried them, and that wasn't too long ago. I guess there's some speculation on Ryzom moving one way or another, but I don't know much about that.
...
This is where I draw the line: __________________.
Well, I just tryed AO, and remembered everything about it, it's nice, but I got bored quiet fast and it's about the third time I play and drop that game.
About Ryzom, I just cheked the forums at the main page and it says that it's going to be free till the end of December and, considering it's the 20th, I rather don't play something that will last me for 11 days only.
