ok I have played DAoC, AO, AC2, Linage 1 and 2, SWG, PS( plannetside), and Horrizon.
didn't enjoy on PS, and Horrizon.
However, what I enjoyed on playing the rest of the game was raids, and wars.
I believe WoW has the same system war agaisnt the alliance and horde.
and raid of hunting down a powerful monster.
I personally is waiting for a powerful monster, a big ugly monster where there has to be more than 100 players to kill it. (time will take approx least 2 hours to kill it)
what about you??

For me it will be the feel of the journey, going from land to land, encountering new creatures at different levels, and all the while growing my avatar from a level one to that elusive level sixty. I think the raids are going to be a lot of fun. I think PvP is going to be a blast. I think doing things on the side (skills) is going to add to the game (although how much so remains to be seen. It certainly was fun in the stress beta).
Right now the highlight for me is definitely going to be GETTING THE GAME, INSTALLING THE GAME, GETTING ONLINE, and ... PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Played: WoW Stress beta
Currently playing: City of Heroes
Currently playing:
World of Warcraft
WoW will no doubt have large scale raids and large scale PvP on the pvp servers. Though I'm not to sure about there being monsters that will take 100 people of high lvl to kill in at least 2 hours. There is high end raid content and extremely strong boss mobs that will take whole guilds to take down, the majority of them have not yet been release for testing in the CB as of now and probably won't be encounterable conflicts until release.
Also yes I am definitly looking forward to going on some huge raids with my friends or takeing a horde town down and slaughtering all who lay within my path!

There are huge bosses already implemented in WoW that requires 20+ people to take down. They are very big dreadlords!!
I can't wait till my undead Warlock hits 60 and I group with a bunch of other lvl 60 warlocks to open the Dark Portal to Outland - yes this is also going to be implemented for retail- . I would love to be one of the characters that participates in this world altering event. How cool it would be to say "you see that portal over there with the demons streaming out of it? Ya, I opened it. MUHAHAHAHA!!!!"
In the next push Onyxia will becoming out which is an elite dragon raid quest!!
Ah~~ yes yes...
well some of you guys are saying go back to Lineage2 or EQ1... Im sry no.
Im going to wait for WoW! and some of the raids I hear for WoW sounds very exciting...
Your so going down haha. My orc shaman is gunna teach you a thing or two on the PvP server
Actually WoW will have monsters like this, it's called "Raid Content."
Read here.
you are the best... thank you.
raid is one of my great pleasure of playing MMOs
that article sounds very exciting.
I especially like how there will be different levels of Raids, where some might be fairly easy to get right into it others might take "all night or even days." So they have something at both ends of the spectrum for people who game for short periods and for people who do for long periods.
