The Boston Drama by TYPECAST
Standard pick-up lines that seems to wreck your bones
Can this be a sequel of my dying hope?
Chasing down a never ending make-believe
But you're a perfect match of consistency
Will you come back in a heartbeat?
Don't be confused of what a great thing we can be
We'll take a walk on the same street
Can you tell me how Boston is like without me?
You're image is stamp beneath the insides of my heart
Now you're gone I don't know where to start
The evidence is showing like a stable apprehension
But you're the only one who's apt for this affection
Will you come back in a heartbeat?
Don't be confused of what a great thing we could be
We'll take a walk on the same street
Can you tell me how Boston is like without me?
Comments
this is mine..
try to guess!!!
Girl, you are to me, all that a woman should be,
And I dedicate my life to you always.
A love like yours is rare,
It must have been sent from up above
And I know you'll stay this way, for always
And we both know, that our love will grow
And forever it will be you and me
Ooh you're like the sun,
Chasing all of the rain away,
When you come around you bring a brighter day
You're the perfect one
For me and you forever will be
And I will love you so for always
Come with me my sweet,
Let's go make a family,
And they will bring us joy, for always
Oh boy I love your so,
I can't find enough ways to let you know
But you can be sure I'm yours, for always
And we both know, that our love will grow
And forever it will be you and me
Ooh you're like the sun,
Chasing all of the rain away,
When you come around you bring a brighter day
You're the perfect one
For me and you forever will be
And I will love you so for always
Ooooooh, I will love you so for always

If I were a ghost I'd haunt your house
Hang out in your rafters
You could be my mister Adams
I could be your Casper
I'd shake with you my afterlife of the unexplained
Walk through your walls let you rattle my chains
Yes I would
And if I were a snake I'd be a constrictor
Slicker than oil
I'd entice you with my slither wrap you in my coils
You could tie me in a thousand knots
And just watch me unfold
Hypnotize you with my stare swallow you whole
Think about it
Welcome to my world of make believe
Check your reality at the door
Within my wishes and my wildest dreams
If I could be anything
Well baby, I'd be yours
And if I were a bird I'd be an owl
Wise beyond my years
Watch over you each night, calm you of your fears
You could set my head to spinnin'
With those little things you do
Like sayin' it was me you loved
When I asked you
Welcome to my world of make believe
Check your reality at the door
Within my wishes and my wildest dreams
If I could be anything
Well baby, I'd be yours

Baby Got Back by Sir Mixalot
Oh, my, god. Becky, look at her butt.
It is so big. *scoff* She looks like,
one of those rap guys' girlfriends.
But, you know, who understands those rap guys? *scoff*
They only talk to her, because,
she looks like a total prostitute, 'kay?
I mean, her butt, is just so big.
I can't believe it's just so round, it's like,
out there, I mean - gross. Look!
She's just so ... black!
[Sir Mix-a-Lot]
I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough
'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get with you
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But that butt you got makes me so horny
Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you wanna get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupie
I've seen them dancin'
To hell with romancin'
She's sweat, wet,
Got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy butt!
Baby got back!
(LA face with Oakland booty)
Baby got back!
[Sir Mix-a-Lot]
I like 'em round, and big
And when I'm throwin' a gig
I just can't help myself, I'm actin' like an animal
Now here's my scandal
I wanna get you home
And ugh, double-up, ugh, ugh
I ain't talkin' bout Playboy
'Cause silicone parts are made for toys
I want 'em real thick and juicy
So find that juicy double
Mix-a-Lot's in trouble
Beggin' for a piece of that bubble
So I'm lookin' at rock videos
Knock-kneeded bimbos walkin' like hoes
You can have them bimbos
I'll keep my women like Flo Jo
A word to the thick soul sisters, I wanna get with ya
I won't cuss or hit ya
But I gotta be straight when I say I wanna *fuck*
Till the break of dawn
Baby got it goin' on
A lot of simps won't like this song
'Cause them punks like to hit it and quit it
And I'd rather stay and play
'Cause I'm long, and I'm strong
And I'm down to get the friction on
So, ladies! {Yeah!} Ladies! {Yeah}
If you wanna roll in my Mercedes {Yeah!}
Then turn around! Stick it out!
Even white boys got to shout
Baby got back!
Baby got back!
Yeah, baby ... when it comes to females, Cosmo ain't got nothin'
to do with my selection. 36-24-36? Ha ha, only if she's 5'3".
[Sir Mix-a-Lot]
So your girlfriend rolls a Honda, playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda don't want none
Unless you've got buns, hun
You can do side bends or sit-ups,
But please don't lose that butt
Some brothers wanna play that "hard" role
And tell you that the butt ain't gold
So they toss it and leave it
And I pull up quick to retrieve it
So Cosmo says you're fat
Well I ain't down with that!
'Cause your waist is small and your curves are kickin'
And I'm thinkin' bout stickin'
To the beanpole dames in the magazines:
You ain't it, Miss Thing!
Give me a sister, I can't resist her
Red beans and rice didn't miss her
Some knucklehead tried to dis
'Cause his girls are on my list
He had game but he chose to hit 'em
And I pull up quick to get wit 'em
So ladies, if the butt is round,
And you want a triple X throw down,
Dial 1-900-MIXALOT
And kick them nasty thoughts
Baby got back!
(Little in the middle but she got much back) [4x]
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
chorus:
I was way too young when i left your side
though i doubt it much it would have changed
my stray ways
if i had lingered on
oh i miss her heart and i hope it heals
I've seen it bleed when i wasn't supposed to see
it was not for me
I miss her heart and I hope it heals.
I’ve seen her bleed when I wasn’t supposed to see,
it was not for me. You should grow up with a strong heartbeat,
to follow you in your moments of fear, and solitude.
I was way too young when I left your side.
holy shit I LOVED that song back in 86 lol
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
ATM my favorite song is
Night train - Guns & Roses
Loaded like a freight train
Flyin' like an aeroplane
Feelin' like a space brain
One more time tonight
Well I'm a west coast struttin'
One bad mother
Got a rattlesnake suitcase
Under my arm
Said I'm a mean machine
Been drinkin' gasoline
And honey you can make my motor hum
I got one chance left
In a nine live cat
I got a dog eat dog sly smile
I got a Molotov cocktail
With a match to go
I smoke my cigarette with style
An I can tell you honey
You can make my money tonight
Wake up late
Honey put on your clothes
Take your credit card
to the liquor store
That's one for you and
two for me by tonight
I'll be loaded like a freight train
Flyin' like an aeroplane
Feelin' like a space brain
One more time tonight
I'm on the nightrain
Bottoms up
I'm on the nightrain
Fill my cup
I'm on the nightrain
Ready to crash and burn
I never learn
I'm on the nightrain
I love that stuff
I'm on the nightrain
I can never get enough
I'm on the nightrain
Never to return-no
Loaded like a freight train
Flyin' like an aeroplane
Speedin' like a space brain
One more time tonight
I'm on the nightrain
And I'm lookin' for some
I'm on the nightrain
So's I can leave this slum
I'm on the nightrain
And I'm ready to crash and burn
Nightrain
Bottoms up
I'm on the nightrain
Fill my cup
I'm on the nightrain
Whoa yeah
I'm on the nightrain
Love that stuff
I'm on the nightrain
An I can never get enough
Ridin' the nightrain
I guess I
I guess, I guess, I guess
I never learn
On the nightrain
Float me home
Ooh I'm on the nightrain
Ridin' the nightrain
Never to return
Nightrain

What's coming through is alive.
What's holding up is a mirror.
But what's singing songs is a snake
Looking to turn my piss to wine.
They're both totally void of hate,
But killing me just the same.
The snake behind me hisses
What my damage could have been.
My blood before me begs me
Open up my heart again.
And I feel this coming over like a storm again.
Considerately.
Venomous voice, tempts me,
Drains me, bleeds me,
Leaves me cracked and empty.
Drags me down like some sweet gravity.
The snake behind me hisses
What my damage could have been.
My blood before me begs me
Open up my heart again.
And I feel this coming over like a storm again now.
And I feel this coming over like a storm again now.
I am too connected to you
To slip away, fade away.
Days away I still feel you
Touching me, changing me,
Considerately killing me.
Considerately killing me.
Considerately killing me.
Considerately killing me.
Without the skin here,
Beneath the storm.
Under these tears now,
The walls came down.
And as the snake is drowned
And as I look in his eyes,
My fear begins to fade
Recalling all of those times.
I could have cried then.
I should have cried then.
And as the walls come down
And as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade
Recalling all of the times
I have died
and will die.
It's all right.
(I don't mind)
I don't mind.
I don't mind.
I don't mind.
I am too connected to you
To slip away, fade away.
Days away I still feel you
Touching me, changing me,
Considerately killing me.
Considerately killing me and
Considerately killing me.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

I don't know where or how you got them,
but thanks for being awesome
It changes all the time but for now

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Hello.
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?
Come on, now.
I hear youre feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I cant explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.
Ok.
Just a little pinprick. [ping]
Therell be no more --aaaaaahhhhh!
But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up?
I do believe its working. good.
Thatll keep you going for the show.
Come on its time to go.
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
So hard to pinpoint just one individual song. It would have to be either:
Parabol/Parabola -- Tool
Burn - NIN
Elderly Woman Behind a Counter in a Small Town -- Pearl Jam
I Remember You -- Skid Row
Carmina Burana -- Carl Orff
Something I Can Never Have (Still version) -- NIN
And soooooo many others......
This is a question that's impossible for me to answer. However, if I absolutely had to choose one song, to be the only song I could listen to for the rest of my life, I'd have to choose:
Stairway to Heaven - The absolute best musical composition of modern rock.
OR
It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding - The absolute best lyrical composition of modern folk.
If I had to pick a favorite it would be this, don't know why just is: Rush - Red Barchetta
My uncle has a country place, that no one knows about
He says it used to be a farm, before the motor law
And on sundays I elude the eyes and hop the turbine freight
To far outside the wire, where my white-haired uncle waits.
Jump to the ground
As the turbo slows to cross the borderline
Run like the wind,
As excitement shivers up and down my spine
Down in his barn
My uncle preserved for me, an old machine ---
For fifty-odd years
To keep it as new has been his dearest dream
I strip away the old debris, that hides a shining car
A brilliant red barchetta, from a better, vanished time
I fire up the willing engine, responding with a roar
Tires spitting gravel, I commit my weekly crime...
Wind in my hair ---
Shifting and drifting ---
Mechanical music ---
Adrenalin surge ---
Well-weathered leather
Hot metal and oil
The scented country air
Sunlight on chrome
The blur of the landscape
Every nerve aware
Suddenly, ahead of me, across the mountainside
A gleaming alloy air-car shoots towards me, two lanes wide
I spin around with shrieking tires, to run the deadly race
Go screaming through the valley as another joins the chase
Drive like the wind
Straining the limits of machine and man
Laughing out loud
With fear and hope, Ive got a desperate plan
At the one-lane bridge
I leave the giants stranded
At the riverside
Race back to the farm
To dream with my uncle
At the fireside...
My favourite song is "The Sacreligious Scorn" by Dimmu Borgir...
"Have I not
Been too long in the shadows of invention and creation
As I rightfully behold the flesh
Fear of the conscious mind will have you facing away
My word and world holds ground and is real
Your word is like floods of poisoned water
A language spoken with spit from different tongues
It all seems like an eternity
This battle between us two
"Good and evil"
Me and you
Time has come to step up
And take back what you took from me
My word and world holds ground and is real
Your word is like floods of poisoned water
A language spoken with spit from different tongues
You can never corrupt me again
Time has come to step up
And take back what you took from me
You can never corrupt me again
I protect every man guilty of sin
The ultimate sin being me
The vapor from the plague
That infested my mind, body and soul
Obscured my view from wisdom
The mist that had me wonder in resentment cleared
And troubles me no more"
Best song ever.

It would be great if someone could write down the text for me. There are some words there that I can't hear. Tried to goodle it with no result.
I agree that the question should be impossible to answer for any music afficianado. But you don't even have the best songs posted from their respective artists. Try these:
Zepplin
Dylan
As far as my favorite songs go, I'm already on record as saying that The Who is my favorite group and my favorite Who song is probably Love, Reign O'er Me. So that one would definitely be up there.
Without question, one of my all-time favorite songs is, Canon in D. That song puts me in a trance. There are many more. I may post them as they come to mind.
I agree that the question should be impossible to answer for any music afficianado. But you don't even have the best songs posted from their respective artists. Try these:

Well, music always is subjective. What one person finds pleasing to listen to, another may not. Over the Hills is probably my third favorite Zeppelin song, behind Stairway and Tangerine, although Kashmir and In the Evening would be up there too.
Where Dylan is concerned, you can't really argue that Tangled Up In Blue is a better lyrical composition than It's Alright Ma. One song is far more difficult to structure than the other. Hell, It's Alright Ma would be more difficult to structure even if it had absolutely no meaning whatsoever. If you stop to think about everything between the rhyme schemes, it's nothing less than epic on the lyrical scale.
Darkness at the break of noon
Shadows even the silver spoon
The handmade blade, the child's balloon
Eclipses both the sun and moon
To understand you know too soon
There is no sense in trying.
Pointed threats, they bluff with scorn
Suicide remarks are torn
From the fool's gold mouthpiece
The hollow horn plays wasted words
Proves to warn
That he not busy being born
Is busy dying.
Temptation's page flies out the door
You follow, find yourself at war
Watch waterfalls of pity roar
You feel to moan but unlike before
You discover
That you'd just be
One more person crying.
So don't fear if you hear
A foreign sound to your ear
It's alright, Ma, I'm only sighing.
As some warn victory, some downfall
Private reasons great or small
Can be seen in the eyes of those that call
To make all that should be killed to crawl
While others say don't hate nothing at all
Except hatred.
Disillusioned words like bullets bark
As human gods aim for their mark
Made everything from toy guns that spark
To flesh-colored Christs that glow in the dark
It's easy to see without looking too far
That not much
Is really sacred.
While preachers preach of evil fates
Teachers teach that knowledge waits
Can lead to hundred-dollar plates
Goodness hides behind its gates
But even the president of the United States
Sometimes must have
To stand naked.
An' though the rules of the road have been lodged
It's only people's games that you got to dodge
And it's alright, Ma, I can make it.
Advertising signs that con you
Into thinking you're the one
That can do what's never been done
That can win what's never been won
Meantime life outside goes on
All around you.
You lose yourself, you reappear
You suddenly find you got nothing to fear
Alone you stand with nobody near
When a trembling distant voice, unclear
Startles your sleeping ears to hear
That somebody thinks
They really found you.
A question in your nerves is lit
Yet you know there is no answer fit to satisfy
Insure you not to quit
To keep it in your mind and not forget
That it is not he or she or them or it
That you belong to.
Although the masters make the rules
For the wise men and the fools
I got nothing, Ma, to live up to.
For them that must obey authority
That they do not respect in any degree
Who despise their job, their destiny
Speak jealously of them that are free
Cultivate their flowers to be
Nothing more than something
They invest in.
While some on principles baptized
To strict party platform ties
Social clubs in drag disguise
Outsiders they can freely criticize
Tell nothing except who to idolize
And then say God bless him.
While one who sings with his tongue on fire
Gargles in the rat race choir
Bent out of shape from society's pliers
Cares not to come up any higher
But rather get you down in the hole
That he's in.
But I mean no harm nor put fault
On anyone that lives in a vault
But it's alright, Ma, if I can't please him.
Old lady judges watch people in pairs
Limited in sex, they dare
To push fake morals, insult and stare
While money doesn't talk, it swears
Obscenity, who really cares
Propaganda, all is phony.
While them that defend what they cannot see
With a killer's pride, security
It blows the minds most bitterly
For them that think death's honesty
Won't fall upon them naturally
Life sometimes
Must get lonely.
My eyes collide head-on with stuffed graveyards
False gods, I scuff
At pettiness which plays so rough
Walk upside-down inside handcuffs
Kick my legs to crash it off
Say okay, I've had enough
What else can you show me?
And if my thought-dreams could be seen
They'd probably put my head in a guillotine
But it's alright, Ma, it's life, and life only.

I'm just foolin' with ya. I know tastes in music is entirely subjective. That's why so much of it out there is bad. I can respect your choice for favorite Zepplin song, so long as it's not Hot Dog. The thing about Led Zepplin is that they have so many good songs, almost everyone has a different favorite by them. For me Over the Hills just barely edges out When the Levee Breaks and Hey Hey What Can I Do. And Thank You is one of my favorite love songs. I also agree with you on In the Evening. The only reason I don't put Stairway to Heaven near the top of my favorite Zepplin songs (or one reason - I honestly don't think it's as good as these others I listed) is that it has been so over-hyped over the years.
Going back to Dylan, regardless of which song of his you like best, even though he's known primarily as a musician, I think he is unquestionably one of the greatest poets who has ever lived.
my favorate song is P.O.D < sleeping awake>
reveal to me
the mysteries
can you tell me what it means?
explain these motions and metaphors
unlock these secrets in me
describe the visions
the meaning is missing
won't anybody listen?
define the riddles of my mind
nothing is really as it seems
dreaming of zion awake
sleeping awake
dreaming of zion awake
can't stop sleeping awake
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
can't stop sleeping awake
can you see it?
the writing
can you tell me what it means?
translate the symbols; enigma
expressions keep pushing me
the message slips and the meaning is missing
won't anybody listen?
prophecy; interpretate the signs
nothing is really as it seems
dreaming of zion awake
sleeping awake
dreaming of zion awake
can't stop sleeping awake
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
can't stop sleeping awake
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
do you dream like i dream?
can anybody see me?
can anybody hear me?
can anybody feel me?
is anybody out there?
dreaming of zion awake
sleeping awake
dreaming of zion awake
can't stop sleeping awake
do you see what i see?
can you hear what i hear?
do you feel like i feel?
can't stop sleeping awake
can anybody see me?
can anybody hear me?
can anybody feel me?
is anybody out there?
Evanescence - Bring Me to Life
How can you see into my eyes like open doors
Leading you down into my core
Where I’ve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back home
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
Bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I’ve become
Now that I know what I’m without
You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I’ve become
Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life
Frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead
All this time I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought without a voice without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more
Bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
Call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
Bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
Before I come undone
(Save me)
Save me from the nothing I’ve become
(Bring me to life)
I’ve been living a lie, there’s nothing inside
(Bring me to life)
Oh, here's one. I'm not that big of an Elvis fan, but this little ditty of his is a gem. And how ironic is it that I just discovered that Zepplin sings a version of it? Pretty cool.
Finally Free by DREAMTHEATER
Friday evening
The blood still on my hands
To think that she would leave me now
For that grateful man
Sole survivor
No witness to the crime
I must act fast to over up
I think that there`s still time
He`d seem hopeless and lost with this note
They`ll buy into the words that I wrote
" This feeling inside me
Finally found my love, I`ve finally broke free
No longer torn in two
I`d take my own life before losing you"
Feeling good this friday afternoon
I ran into Julian
Said we`d get together soon
He`s always had my heart
He needs to know
I`ll break free of the Miracle
It`s time for him to go
This feeling inside me
Finally found my love, I`ve finally broke free
No longer torn in two
He`d kill his brother if he only knew
Their love renewed
They`d rendezvous
In a pathway out of view
They thought no one knew
They came a shot out of the night
One last time
We`ll lay down today
One last time
Until we fade away
One last time
We`ll lay down today
One last time
We slowly fade away
As their bodies lie still
And the ending draws near
Spirits rise through the air
All their fears disappear, it all becomes clear
A blinding light comes into view
An old soul exchanged for a new
A familiar voice comes shining through
This feeling inside me
Finally found my love, I`m finally free
No longer torn in two
I learned about my lie by living through you
This feeling inside me
Finally found my love, I`ve finally broke free
No longer torn in two
Living my own life by learning from you
We`ll meet again my friend someday soon

"Jesus Take The Wheel lyrics
She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was sooo scared
She threw her hands up in the air
Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'ma let it go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight
Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Oh, Jesus take the wheel
Oh, I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Oh, take it, take it from me
Oh, why, oh
"
