PvP game

So I am looking for a decent PvP.

I am not going to go down into specifics as the market for PVP games is very thin so just suggest any that come to mind. F2P or P2P, whatever.

NOTE:

Shaiya. It's a horrible game populated with kiddies who repeat "PWN" "OWNED" "UR MOM", etc. Anyone sticking up for it reaks of advertisement as they all seem to be short blurbs on how awesome it is and it's features.

You can suggest Shaiya but if it reaks of viral marketing and only states features and not any downsides, I will report the post for spam (yes, it is spam if I explicitly tell you not to post it) and likely viral marketing if you haven't disguised it well enough.

Agree. Shaiya has a good PvP system.

    This classic-style MMORPG offers players:

PvE, PvP, RvR: The best of all game worlds in one game. Slay monsters, battle friends in duels, smite opposing players in PvP, and fight for control of the continent in Realm versus Realm combat. To the winner of RvR goes the blessing of their Goddess and all the bonuses that includes!

flyff sucks in pvp... all it is duels and guild wars and guild wars take about 10secs.

i tryed wow and irealy did try to play it but OMG what a boreing game the quests were dull the gfx are dull  the Pvp realy sucked but thats my opinion my choice would be guild wars over WoW any day of the week so much pvp stuff to do on GW (my fav is Random Battles (RA) and 1000's of skills to unlock and diffrent zones ect plus you can combine 2 chars togther warrior + priest or ranger and warrior the these 10 diffrent classes but at the end of the day i would tke the games listed above and youtube them and see what you like the look of

WoW has free trial (after trial u gotta buy the disk then pay monthly bill) too so the boredom carnt hurt for long :)

GW buy disc but no fee's

( for WOW players) let the flameing commence

I've been looking for a hardcore PvP game to keep me hooked for years now since i left Asheron's Call, I havn't really found anything that has kept my attention 100%, but there are some decent games out there.

Asheron's Call - Darktide = Low population these days, probably really not an option unless you already have a character there.

EvE Online = Probably the best PvP game I have played in recent times. It really is what you make of it, you have to go looking for fights to make your own fun . Can be ruthless and even heartbreaking at times, but that's all part of the PvP appeal. Also has a huge learning curve, so you'll need to be patient.

Shadowbane = I always find myself coming back to this game a for a little fun. It's extremely easy to level characters once you make a few friends. On the downside, many people hate the control system, and there is a bit of a learning curve in character creation/development. Free to play.

Those are the three candidates that I'd put foward first from my own experience. Here's a list of other half decent games with a decent PvP engine.

Jumpgate, Age of Conan, Warhammer, Vanguard, Navy Field, Dofus (perma-death server is fairly fun), Archlord, Lineage II and Ultima Online.

    Hope this helps some.
