Cant think of any game, it seems all far to main stream or solo games that are console ports also most are to easy becouse of mainstream.

Just for fum dl RoM open beta man that game sucks its unbelievble how peeps can play that its so stupid that your IQ go down :P

Item shops mount at lvl1 its a poor copy of wow while wow is a copy of everquest while everquest is a poor attemp as themepark:P.

Most mmo's are so much dumb down so easy and so stupid that im almost on virge of stop playing all together and never bother again with mmo.

Solo/multi for pc also almost dead there all to main stream and console ports dumb down to lvl that i wonder if they think 5 years old can play them.

Fallout3 was not bad but its also gone to far to mainstream and console players.

Waiting Darkfall its prolly realy my last hope.

If it fails im back to chess and lost to gaming.

    Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

WOTLK, although to be honest I have owned it since it launched and played a grand total of 7-8 hours since it gets quite dull very quickly, I am already level 75 and half as well in that little time I have played -_-

Gived EvE online another try, every time I read about the player politics it gets me interested in playing the game, unthoughtunatly I just can not stand the horrible combat system. And I am not to fond of their skill training system either.

Other than that I play left4dead occasionally, I am not really waiting for any mmo any more, I just do not see anything on the horizon that looks any good. I would really like to see Darkfall come out at the end of January and being atleast a half decent sandbox MMO, but quite frankly it is unlikely it will be any good if even playable.

I am not sure when Jumpgate comes out but I think that is really the last mmo I am somewhat looking forward to in the near future. Ill probably not bother with MMOs if that one turns out crap as well.

    WAR

I'm too busy with it to try out anything else at the moment. Orders on my server are finally starting to get organized and I'm knee-deep in politics and long-term strategy stuff (that and all the alts I have to level to 10+ so I get some idea how other classes function  - I want to be a useful tank. )

When my vacation begins I'll have more free time so I'll probably try out Fallout 3... or maybe not. Lotsa cool books and movies I missed recently...

WoW, Knight online, Mount&Blade sometimes and maybe even Knights of Honor some times.

Currently restarting World of Warcraft :/

    I'm playing Happy Christmas Online.

It's a skill based game, you have some skills to improve, gift receiver and gift giver. Dont know why but most people prefer improving his gift receiver skill. There is some crafting in game too, but there is only one skill, Gift crafter. You can own a house too with a Christmas tree it works as a Trade window but it works offline, you throw gufts there and you can pick up your gift from there too; and you have 1 skill to improve about your house, Christmas House Decorator skill.

It only have one bad thing, they reset servers every year, dont know why.

hehe no, your not alone :)

It was the scaling mobs that really destroyed that game for me though... There were or course other issues, but that was the main one.

Thankfully FO3 fixes that issue quite nicely. The character models are still fugly tho :)

    back on topic though! :P

Sins of the Solar Empire and Defcon also need some attention from me as well... Love both those games... I am not sure I am gonna have enough time in December :(

    I started my own game.

I call it "job search".The highest difficulty usually occurs in december and right now my resume is fully loaded up and ready to combat the "others" looking for new jobs as well.

    Such is life.

    What is your physical limit?

     WAR and EvE.

  • MindTriggerMindTrigger Member Posts: 2,596

Reinstalling Guild Wars and playing that for a bit.  I originally bought the games during the holidays, so now it's almost tradition to go back and fire up my toons during the winter.  Especially with the current gap in decent MMO's to play.

A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.
