I know that this is going to be a great MMOG.. now my only question is, where was it originally created? Because it seems to be sweeping the world in fine fashion.
Board in a box will one day be common knowledge.. a familiar greeting.. a way of saying hello.
Perhaps we should all get the beatstick out of the box, and get to beating, if you know what I mean.
Couples will be happier, grandkids will visit grandparents, the world will be a beautiful thing, when BiaB comes out.

From what I hear.. it's a MMOG.. it's a box with a board in it.. it costs $50, you buy it.. then you sit in front of your computer and you hit yourself in the head with the board for the next 6 months.. then they'll come out with the expansion pack, which includes nails and sandpaper to add to the board, to add to the gameplay.
It's sweeping the nation.

Sounds awesome , any information regarding the release date?
I hear your character actaully ages as time goes by in game and changes weight. This game sounds amazing , it will surely bring the genre to new heights.
From what I hear it has the same IQ loss factor that other MMOGs have, but this one makes you talk like muhammad ali did 25 years into being a boxer after awhile.
But it's incredibly lifelike they say.. 100% realistic graphics!

Board in a Box is currently in Close Beta or "Seedling" stage. Soon, Open Beta or "Lumbjack" stage will begin late next fall after last winter before the summer three seasons till next Christmas.

I hear it has a big grind though
Supposedly it can take over 70 years to reach the soft cap.
Thats the Redwood edition, for extremely hardcore players with no lives.
The standard edition or Birch Edition only takes a few hours each day of grinding before you shape your character or "board" into a fine wooden construct to beat yourself in the head.
We are currently working on a PVP system right now all we have is duels which consist of you going over to another "Board in a Box" player's house and beating them with your board.

I hear there's a mini-game called "Board baseball", which comes with it.
The difference is that the "ball" in board baseball is a HUMAN HEAD!

Apparently they have PvP on all servers where as our PvP system is too on all servers but its choice PvP. Either you choose to go whack someone or you choose not to.
They claim to be ready for "Open Beta" whereas "Board in a Box" is still in closed beta. I assure you, however, that once we get Green Peace off our backs, we will open the doors to the public for beta testing.
