Qeynos and Money...

in Everquest II

Ok.. I've tried questing and I've gone out and faught in Lagtonica and I can't seem to keep my head above water moneywise.  I have grey armor at levl 11 and I can't even solo a blue mob marked as "Solo" as a Predator (which I think it probably due to my poor equiptment)

 

Can anyone make recommendations on how to actually make some money in this game? I'd craft to try to make money, however, I can't afford the crafting tomes to learn how to make things at a profitable level.  I did manage to get crafting up to 5 over the weekend, but it's going to cost alot of money (which I don't have) to get any where near profitable.

 

So... Any recommendations?

    WEll i know my cousin he got into beta and he didnt start getting money till like lvl 16. THen he started crafting with the money he had saved and had goten. He told me to level then craft for money or just keep levling. So thats my advice.::::01::

    hunt vipers and rats near the docks in Antonica.....

    the chests they drop contains armor you can sell for 4 silver and some change a piece. Wolves drop shields and deer drops bows.

    One word that I did not see you mention but once that would greatly improve your income and armor is......

     

    QUESTS!!!  Do more of them and you will gain as you go!

    at level 9 i ran around every city part hailing every npc i could find in qeynos and collected around 120 quests, at level 16 i finished about 100, so those quests gave me 7 levels i have all appr3 versions of my spells, all my armor is white/yellow con and i have about 2 gold in total (200 silver) and i can solo yellow mobs (dwarf shaman).
