Hey I just started playing WAR yesterday and for some reason I haven't been able to find info to clear my confusion. I hear on forums people talking about how you can level by questing or RvR, but I'm confused on if you have to level both ways or just one or what. Also when do you get to a main town with all level types not just people around your level. How do I get involved in open RvR, where do I go? What level can I contribute to open RvR. Last, I hear people talking about T4 and T3, what level can you go to the next tier?
If there is a place that answers my questions that I have somehow managed to miss sorry

First of all, you get exp (For gaining lvls) for doing RvR (Realm vs. Realm, or more commonly known as PvP), however you may also get exp for completing quests and killing monsters. You can do any of these in any way that you want. If you want, you can jump right into the RvR at lvl 1! However you might not do so well, because you will only have your lvl 1 abilities. Your lvl is scaled (So your HP and stats are raised) when you enter an RvR lake, or a scenario.
An RvR lake is where you can kill players of the other Realm, and these are marked by the darkened areas of the map, which have Battle Objectives or keeps within them to fight over. Like I said, you can contribute to RvR at any level.
To get to a capital city, all you have to do is find a flight master, and click on the "Empire vs. Chaos" tab, and click on Inevitable City for Destruction, or Altdorf for Order.

haha thanks for the info it's greatly appreciated. now I don't feel as stupid. ok I have a question for you, why is the engineer so awesome at just level 5??
medieval style game + shotgun and hand grenades? heh.
All it means is that you get XP from both. So if you like PvP/RvR then you can just do that even. You are not forced into any specific style of play.
You can lvl up your character either way. It's really cool. The only game out there that really has PvP build-into the core pf the game and did it well.

How do you enter an RvR area? Last night I stood in a queue for a RvR scenario but nothing happened for over an hour.

Well since the latest patch, PvP has moved from (WoW BG esque) Scenarios to Open World PvP.
Open your map and whatever zone you are in, you will see a huge area dedicated for RvR. Basically just look for a keep or try to find a group in the zone chat.
