I know I am! I is so so so so BoRiNg. I have played it before and its nothing special. let me lay ot down for all of ya.

-Bad graphics

-Mean and nasty community

-Horrible building system

-Worst live help support ever

Need I go on?

    Well I see second life banner ads all over the place. It is so horrible! Looking at the graphics burns your eyes!

    Ok second life is an insult to online worlds. It is the most uglyest thing I have ever layed my eyes upon. The "members" (more like zombies) are very rude and mean. I can not think of one good thing about second life. It has no right to be on this site or even exist for that matter! I think we as members of this site should get a right to vote on what ads are on this site. But come on people we need to get rid of SL ads and save lives.

    as far as i can tell (seeing as practically everything you have posted has been about "There"), you're just a "There" fanboy who hates Second Life much in the same sense as WoW fanboys hate EQ2 (even if they dont have a reason)...

    Hmmm, if I remember correctly in another post you were ranting that you hated Second Life fanboys and that the There community was better.

    Why do you care? The ads don't take up much space at all and aren't flashy and annoying.

    i have no problem with advertisements as long as they are not popups.
    what do you think pays for this site?
    would you rather pay a subscription to be a member of mmorpg.com?

    Google has an add on to your task bar which blocks all the pop adds..... and there's lot more programs like it, get it and you wont see them anymore, simple... I have not seen 1 pop up add on this website  image

    Ok fine leave the ads up. More people can get sucked into the money drain. They want 620$ for virtual land. The program they call second life is where trolls come from. I just dont want more people who dont deserve punishment to go to second life. But I see that on my poll more people want to get rid of SL ads. SO BE IT!

    Hey if the people playing it like it and have the 620 dollars to spend on virtual land more power to them. It isn't like SL is forcing you to pay the money. I still think Active Worlds is 10x better than both There and SL because both games are just mimicks of the great original.

    Okay first, don't even bring up the Second Life banner thing. That is so pathetic. Two, if you are upset with it then don't pay attention to it. You know i am kind of sick of the AC2 banners but I put up with it. Three, I agree with the poster above about how its how they pay for this website. Oh and if you want to burn Second Life (1, don't be a fan of There because you will just get flamed, 2, a lot of people here like Second Life and they will burn you bad or do something else bad) If you were just saying something you should have said something like I did "Just hear me out, I don't want your opinion."

    If you are sick of their ads, why don't you pay their bill and put up your own ad? Or pay their bill and don't put up any ad!  I'm sure MMORPG.Com doesn't care where the money to run this site comes from.  Power is in your hands, quit bitching and ante up!

    I wouldnt mind the ads, had i never tried the game, but good god.. the game is the biggest POS ive ever played.. i wouldnt even call it a game, just a graphical chat room, and its not even good for that

    P.S. - Firefox isnt keeping you form seeing the ads (up at the top and sides of screen) which is something different from the popups.

    i only se AO and other online games ads hardly ever see those adds but i use firefox :P
